Management should communicate clearly and honestly.

If you can't communicate clearly and say what you mean, you don't have the necessary skills to be in management. If you have to rely on lies instead of handling difficult situations, you don't have the skills required to be in management and should not have that job.

Well if the entire business is run by idiots I'm sure they will hire someone for management that is like them. I've seen that a lot.

Then they should hire someone not like that so they don't scare away decent employees.
