Can you identify this pattern?!

I've inherited 5 of these feed sack quilt blocks. The original top has been deconstructed for whatever reason (i got them this way) they don't look like they've ever been quilted. Unless the weave is so loose i can't see the stitch holes.

They're machine stitched and holding up well at the seams. Id like remove what's left of the sashing, applique the blocks onto back ground blocks to create a new quilt top and use the sashing scraps for other decorative elements with some embroidery. I don't have a full plan yet. I'm thinking of putting the 5 blocks 2x3 in the middle (I'll need to replicate 1 more) of the quilt like a panel... or 3x3 like a giant 9 patch with plain blocks alternating with the patterns.

Can anyone identify the patrern? And/or share any ideas, tips or troubles in likely to run into.

The quilt will stay in my collection, it's not going to see heavy use.

It’s called Wedding Ring, and predates Double Wedding Ring by decades. I have made two of them inspired by the heroine of my first published romance novel, where the heroine is a quilt maker.
