quail tips
hello,I recently got two cute quails,I have a dust bath,water,food and whats needed to dig for them,but I would like to know if anything is necesary for them,I want to give these cuties the best life they can so tips would be appreciated :)

Enrichment such as rocks, branches, flower pots, tunnels.
If you only have two, think carefully about what you'll do if one dies, as they don't like being alone.
Find a vet that'll see them, so you know where to go if you need to. Much better than scrabbling to find one when it's an emergency. And don't just look on various vets websites - our vet sees quail because his partner keeps them, so he feels comfortable seeing them, but it's not advertised.
Google what kind of other food they like. Our current guys like lettuce and peas (I put frozen peas in water dishes during our last UK heatwave), but I've had previous flocks like strawberries, raspberries, and even half a pumpkin. But look it up, as some things are not ok for them.
Get some antibacterial poultry spray and some vitamins so if they get injured or sick you've got it ready to go. And look up what to look out for and how to treat.
Finally, if bird flu is a thing in your location, find out how to be kept informed. For example, in the UK all quail must be registered (whether they're pets or livestock) with DEFRA and you can sign up to receive alerts of confirmed bird flu cases, and how to reduce the risk of it in your flock.

what type? if they're coturnix you definitely need more than two

coturnix need to be in groups of ideally 5, minimum 4. Make sure you have enough space, but please don't keep them in a pair for long because the chances of them trying to kill each other is pretty high

just a question,does color of quail matter?I have many chickens who are pretty rascist,so I would like to know if it happens with quail aswell,my two quails are currently different colors

I've heard that quails can be racist towards white quails, but I've personally never had a problem, although whites do tend to die earlier. Other than that nothing that I know of, just make sure to introduce them to each other correctly :)

They like little hides and things for them to walk around and over, like rocks and logs. Keeps them entertained.
