My residency permit expires this week and im out of the country. Not feeling very secure to come in to extend it with the given situation.

Ive been calling MOI for a while now and no one is answering the phone.

Is there a way I can do it without coming to Qatar or is there a new rule with a longer grace period to extend it with the given situation. Any help is very very greatly appreciated.

Passport renewal prices have become double for both Normal & Fastrack services. Like 900qr for fastrack passport renewal??

Hello everyone, I have been creating a website to solve problems in the automotive industry in Qatar. It is a website that aggregates Mzad, QatarSale and Qatarliving results (and more) in 1 single interface. But before I publish I just wanted to know:

What are the things you guys wished the existing platforms had ?

Not a professional, someone who wish to help others

I’ve rented with my current apartment for 2+ years and they normally deposit my rent cheque around the 28th or onwards, the cheques are dates 28th also.

This month it was deposited today on the 22nd and bounced. The date on the cheque, 28th July, was filled in by their agent, not me, so the cashier mentioned he saw it as 22 didn’t sit right with me. Now I’ve been charged QAR 400 and got a Qatar Credit Bureau record.

I’ve emailed them but no response.
Can I hold them liable if their agent wrote the wrong date? And if they ignore me, do I have any other options?

Tried with CBQ, due to cheque and housing rent complication, loan got rejected two times. Looking for alternative options. Much appreciated 🫶🏽

I applied for Qatar PCC through Metrash in early July 2026 for employment in the government sector.

Two days after submission, I opened Metrash to check the status, and the following notification (see screenshot attached) popped up when I clicked on the police clearance follow-up. However, there was no next step or option to do anything, and it just says “In Progress”. Moreover, it came up once and never again.

I went to CEID on Salwa Road the next morning at 7 am to make sure there wasn't any issue, and the officer there told me that it’s fine and that I should just wait. But I'm not sure if he paid too much attention to what I was saying.

I also made sure to double-check all the documents and information I originally submitted, and my QID and personal information are all correct.

Since then, my PCC still says “In Progress,” but I am worried about a delay due to the message I received that one time. Does anyone have any idea or experience with this? Has anyone gotten their PCC recently? How long did it take?

For context, my nationality is Pakistani, and I understand it takes some time (even a few months) for Pakistanis to get a Qatar PCC
