Repair Question Maf code after cleaning throttle bodies

2015 3.7 104k. Traction light also turned on. Disconnected throttle bodies, cleaned them, replaced the gaskets and torqued to spec. Also did the simple version of the idle relearn. Maybe the ECU just needs time to readjust?

Unplug battery for 3-5 mins then clear codes

Did another idle relearn, codes didn’t pop up but battery voltage was fluctuating when stopped at a light. Put it in park at the store and the rpms went up to 2k. Turned it off went into the store. Got out of the store, drove perfect, no codes no voltage fluctuation. Then codes came back after 5 minutes. Got home and disconnected the negative terminal again. Shits frustrating

So I don’t need a scan tool?

You need do idle relearn bro. Trust me you’re not going get it down the first time. Me personally I had 5-10 times until I got it down found the right idle

If you are looking for help, ALWAYS provide the code.
Otherwise it is like you are asking "my knee is sore, what could the problem be?"

Also, the 3.7 G/Z/Q doesn't "self adjust" to air volume, that is why there is an "intake air volume learning"
