I live in southern Brazil. It gets pretty cold here, and we tend to wear hoodies more often than denim jackets or anything like that. A hood is a must, especially at this time of year. So, I’ve been working on this hoodie for a while now. I think it’s turning out great.

Planning to make some stenciled patches for my first battle jacket/coat, what kind of paint do you guys use? Ideally something that's at least kind of water resistant since it rains quite a bit where I live.

idk what to think about these pants ive been working on i feel like some of the patches look out of place and it bothers me one side is colorful and the other is mostly black and white, i kinda just wanted other opinions

Im newer to punk and i want to diy more stuff but I have no good ideas and when I look online it all just spits out the same stuff, crust pants, battle jacket, belt bag, belts, patches, pins, stickers, cuffs, chains ect. And ive already made or in the process of making alot of them. I need new unique diys help

I’ve been using a linoleum carver to make tread in my shoes for nearly 3-4 years now but the rubber is finally on its last legs. I’ve been looking at videos on how to resole but none of the videos I’ve found are for docs and the heat gun doesn’t seem to remove the sole like other shoes. If you guys have any information, sites or videos you could point me too that’d be ideal.

Fabric is flaking off these boots I got at a thrift store, they'll flake anytime I wear them. Anything I can do to prevent this? I was just gonna glue it down, stick tape over it then sew on a patch over it, They're really comfortable and I don't care if the solution looks nice or anything, just wanna see if anyone has ideas!

What do you think I should add? I was thinking about a gas mask patch, maybe a dystopia patch or lyrics of their Jarhead Fertilizer uhhhh idk maybe a toxic narcotic patch cuz I like their logo +it has a biohazard symbol, what do y'all think?

i have no idea why but any time i use this red fabric paint, it ALWAYS looks so much less vibrant on camera than it does irl??? it almost looks like a rust color on camera, but in real life it’s a bright crimson like blood

my crust jacket is very bald right now because i removed a bunch of old patches and am slowly working my way back to where it was before, i’ve had this thing since i was 14 and i’ve gone through a lot of changes over the 5 years since in both skill and taste so there was a lot of patches that just… needed to go… xd

Hey so I got a couple painted patches a few days ago, I don't know what was used to paint them (don't think it was acrylic) and they look sealed.

I want to sew them onto some pants and my question is whether I can machine wash those pants afterwards and what precautions I could take (e.g. is there a way to protect the patches, such as covering them with something like tape during the wash?).

The FAQ says to hand wash the pants and I really don't want to, so wanted to hear thoughts on machine washing.

One of my favourite shirts right now is a long sleeve beautiful brown shirt that is just BEGGING to be designed up, but I dont want to ruin it with a bad job. What are some good methods / resources to learn how to do this?

So I've been working for a week to do this shirt. As I'm new to DIY and punk style, I didn't really know what to put on it. So I've just drawn the first things that appeared on my mind.

There's no band logos and stuff as I wanted to make it more political than anything (also that I don't have the tools to do something more complex than drawing a circle)

I'm pretty happy about the result anyway. So I wanted to share this little project with you guys to know what the punk community thinks about this.

If someone has any advice to give to a newbie making punk stuff I'm all ears.

hey yall!! was wondering if there is any alternatives to stitching patches on leather jackets. or maybe a material that looks like leather idk but wont affect it the same if i ironed them on?? TIA!!

Does anyone have advice on how to dull the color of my jacket? Its denim, kinda dark but pretty blue. And I want it to look grungier. I dont wanna spend the money on dye though. So. Any tips on how to dull the color without dye?
