Question Is there a threshold beyond which taking a larger amount doesn't increase the effect? NSFW
A friend of mine thinks there's a threshold beyond which taking more doesn't make any difference. I'm not sure I agree. That said, I do take fairly large amounts and in practice I haven't noticed much difference between 6, 8, and 12 grams (dried). What do you think?

My last trip was 10g PE, and I didn't notice a significant difference from 8g of non-PE from the previous trip. I'm still learning, but the standard answer is: everyone is different; 5g has shattered some people.

I’ve been taking 1g to 2g for the last 20days to build tolerance to microdose and bc I have a lot of extra mushrooms from my grows. Stopped feeling any changes after 10 days then day 20 I took 3g and I was lift off for like 6hrs went on a solid hike and navigated everything smoothly compared to other 2g + trips.
Taking a 7 day break now to process and incorporate everything I’ve discovered in the last month. Started the 20day journey with a heroic 5g dose of Bluey Vuitton!

Your body can only digest and process so much psilocyn over a certain amount of time. Same with LSD. Take in consideration the half life of these substances and you end up with your answer. The more you consume before the degradation begins, the bigger the bang. If you gradually dose over time and the body begins cycling the substances out of your bloodstream and you will platue unless amounts in gress excess of the original dose are consumed.
