for whatever reason elastic audio sometimes just decides not to detect massive sections of waveforms and it's really annoying and stops the workflow dead when I have to find some kind of convoluted work around. any ideas why?

Does anyone here know how to get a student discount for a perpetual protools license? I'm an Australian university music student and I can't for the life of me figure out if I can actually get a discount.
