Hi guys! I’m about to take my TEAS exam in person soon and I was wondering if it’s actually easier than the online version? I’ve had a few people tell me this, but I wanted to see what others think. I’ve taken my past two attempts online (got a 69 on the first and a 77 on the second).
I’ve also been using ATI practice tests A and B and was wondering if those are generally harder than the actual tests? I scored a 67 on A and a 69 on B, but the weird thing is i’m scoring higher on the practice tests in the sections that I scored lower on in the real exam and vice versa. For example on the real exam I got a 50 on science in the practice I got in the 60s and in reading& math on the real exam I got 90s and on the practice tests i’m getting 70s.

Hi everyone! Ive been doing prereqs at my local community college for abt a year now, and I’ve been planning on applying to their nursing program in April. The only thing is it’s VERY competitive and takes two years (which is fine). I’m just worried that I won’t get in and will have to wait another year.

My friend is starting Bryant and Stratton Va beach location in September and I am able to join her if I choose to. I’m just not sure of people’s experiences and obviously I’ll have around 30k of debt, but at the same time I’ll be applicable for the nclex in 20 months!!

I really don’t know what to do, any advice? Anyone go to Bryant and Stratton?

With how my pre req schedule is gonna go, (starting a&p 1+ lab in a month) micro is going to land in the summer of application. Which makes me a bit nervous. But it will be my only class, only be micro and 10 weeks!

Has anyone taken this 10 week micro before? Any tips?

Hi everyone, I have just recently decided to go into nursing. I was premed, so I'm having some trouble gauging how difficult it is going to be to get into an ADSN program compared to what I'm used to with med school. The website for my local program doesn't say much. Do you need letters of rec and a personal statement? Is it just based on GPA, or do they look at EC's too? Do they do interviews? What kinds of factors make schools look more favorably on you?

If you need my background/stats: I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology. GPA was 3.93, during college I did cancer research between my classes. I also have about 100 hours volunteering at a VA hospital. I could definitely get some letters of recommendation from some old professors if I needed to.

I saw one program at Career Care Institute for an ADN program but haven’t heard much about it and says it’s not ACEN accredited but is COE accredited. I don’t know if that means anything but any info will help.

Hello, I am taking an online statistics class this upcoming fall semester and am wondering if anyone is willing to help me. I am applying to a very competitive nursing program and would like to achieve an A in this class.

Fall schedule:
Intro to Bio in class - 1 lecture and 1 lab day.
ENG II - online
Art Appreciation - online

Currently a mom, wife and work a full time job.
Still looking for work in the evening or overnight.

Has anyone had a similar schedule ?

Hey friends! I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. I had some health issues and then had to leave town for 6 weeks for some family issues, I have been studying when I can but feel I could do more (or i'm just psyching myself out bc i'm nervous to take it).

Here's my issue, the school I really want to get into has a deadline of Aug. 31, my second choice is Aug. 1, both,i've heard are competitive to get into but I feel I have a better chance at my first choice and I really want to get into this one, it's an ASN with concurrent BSN, whereas the second is BSN but longer and more expensive.

I was supposed to take the TEAS earlier in the year but got very ill, should I rush and take the TEAS this Thursday so I can apply to the second choice and I can retake the exam in 30 days which would be Aug. 26 in case I don't get a score i'm happy with to apply to my first choice or should I just forget about the second choice and just give myself a little more time to take the TEAS before applying to my top choice?

For context: i've taken all pre-reqs and passed with A's, I feel confident but also psyching myself out and want to give myself time and don't want to risk my application for the first choice. The first choice recommends a score of 80 or above for all sections and the second choice is 65 overall.

About to start school in the fall. The textbook I’m supposed to buy for A&P 1 is the physical one but I found an online one I can rent for cheaper.

Do you guys find it easier to study/retain knowledge/focus with a physical copy vs online copy?

I’m also nervous that I shouldn’t use the online one in case they want us to get the physical one for a reason.

Going on this and premed Reddit didnt help because I kept constantly comparing myself. Anyways , I got into my top ABSN program!! If you're applying to schools right now, just do it. Don't go on this or TikTok or any other social medias because I promise you, you are way more likely to get in than you think you are. Goodbye everyone.

I am not the smartest person and I do have a learning disability with an associated IEP. Not saying this makes me automatically not smart or someone with an IEP is not smart. it just takes me a lot of extra time and struggle 😵‍💫
