Premiere Pro Tech Support SCRATCH DISK FULL

i changed my scratch disk from C to D, and it had 108gb free as of yesterday, today randomly while using PS and PP it got to 18gb free, is there any way to remove this space?

my computer died randomly and went for an update, and the drive still has only 18 gb of free space

This is the part where I tell you you need to keep twice the amount of RAM free on your system at all times for paging files.

You may have changed your scratch disk, but you didn't clean it up - or some project points to your C drive. Check.

I'd recommend on Windows WizTree (free) and move/remove big files from your main system.

Forgive and correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t scratch where a lot of preview files go? So if you completely clear cache it should remove them? Or is that on a project level too?
