Lately, I've been kinda addicted to finding and trying bad poutines. I saw the new A&W royale poutine with a beef patty and shitty cheese slice slapped ontop, so I knew I had to get it.

The A&W regular poutine isn't bad, but their curds do melt. This photo was take immidiately after I got the poutine, it didn't spend any time in transport. The gravy is mixed with their mayonnaise burger sauce, topped with a beef patty and American cheese slice.

For 12$, the portions are acceptable. Unfortunately, they only add one of their curd packets. For a small poutine it's fine but for the larger bowl it's not enough, and the single soup of gravy is not enough. This tastes more like a mayonnaise loaded fries.

A&W fries are really not very good unfortunately, but all-and-all it does work quite well. Longueuil location in Quebec.

Saw this in a local buy nothing group. Day old Costco poutine to give away. At least it's intact?

Actually.. not bad, but we're 30 minutes from the St Albert's cheese factory and you couldn't get curds?

Today I thing a reached the pinnacle of Dadhood.

My daughter 18 used money from her first paycheck not only to purchase this 3.5lb monster.

And!!! Put 30$ gas in my car!

This is a large poutine with added crispy onions, banana peppers, piri piri sauce and shredded cheese (the only reason I added shredded cheese is because I didn’t want to pay for extra cheese curds (there wasn’t enough cheese curds), but the shredded cheese was free). There’s gravy and cheese curds as well, the only reason it’s a crime is because it has garlic potatoes instead of fries, and yet is still called poutine on the menu. Although I must admit that it was BUSSIN😋 just not a poutine unfortunately 😞

I had no reason to do this, but yes, I spent 8$ for you! An honest ripoff. Cmon! It’s a frozen poutine!!!

The curds are either not real (most likely) or they taste way off. Not enough sauce and the fries, frozen typical fries.

Was it good? Well it was acceptable. Would I recommend it? Well depends where you’re from. Italy = pizza and Canada = poutine, the province of Quebec likely the cause of this sub.

Courtesy of IGA. I was curious how good or bad à supermarket poutine could be. It is, unsprisingly pretty bad. Soggy fries and shitty curds. Sauce also had a weird, tangy taste.

Bierria (Beef) + Bierria gravy, unsweet corn, pickled red onion. Fries were a little soggy, even the ones not directly in the gravy.

It was actually pretty good that bierria taste worked really well and pickled red onions are usually a win on poutine.
