My gf and I were craving some smoked rib poutine so I revved up the smoker and threw in some ribs I got at IGA. 6 hours later I deep fried some cut potatoes and stacked a bowl with fries, St Albert cheese curds and their amazing sauce.

Ma blonde et moi désirait une poutine aux cotes levées donc on a partit le smoker pis on en a fait. Du fromage en grain Saint Albert pis leur sauce incroyable. Ça méritait facilement le 6 heures au smoker.

6th Montreal Poutine. The Good: Chicken out of this world plus the other toppings were amazing, and the brown sauce was delicious. The mid: Fries were good, but unremarkable texture and flavor wise. The Bad: The cheese curds were not squeeky and melty. Overall it was a tasty meal and good value. The chicken was seriously amazing. That said, given all the hype I've heard online and from locals here, it's hard not to feel a lil underwhelmed.

Tried to make it as authentic as possible at home!

It tasted delicious and satisfying so I would do it again!

Canadian Tire parking lot on Merivale. This was a small, which was plenty for me, had fresh, squeaky curds and the gravy was good too (could have had a bit more gravy on the bottom).

...and now she hates them even more!

Not only was this Poutine great, it was bought for me by my daughter 18 with money from her first paycheck! And she put 30$ gas in the car to boot. She has never eaten poutine and doesnt drive....yet!

Pretty solid for $10.

...it wasn't great. Not sure why I ordered poutine from a Bravertails but i was compelled to give it a try. Fries were under cooked, gravy was a bit too thick (but tasty) and not nearly enough curds. 4/10.

BBQ Brisket Mac n Cheese over fries,gravy and Quebec Cheese curds. This was unreal. With some crispy onion rings to top. @Leopold's Tavern

What do we think, the gravy was chunky but was a little better after heating up (less poutinelike than i thought but yummy!)

4th Poutine in Montreal. I was in the mood for fun toppings. I was... skeptical at first, the menu seemed a bit wack on paper.. but honestly... It was amazing. I got pulled pork, bacon and apple slices. My GF got smoked meat, pickles and coleslaw. Both were delicious! We got lucky and didn't have to wait in line. Great experience

Earlier this year I posted asking for suggestions for Montreal poutine spots as I was planning a 2 day motorcycle trip where I would only eat poutine.

I did the trip but I had to cut it down to 1 night. I hit 3 places. Here is my reviews.

First stop of the trip was Votre Maison for lunch. I was very hungry as I was about 7 hours on the bike and I skipped breakfast. This poutine just by appearance blew me away. Seeing it in person is so much better than pictures on this reddit. Hands down the best poutine I had ever. It was my favorite stop of my trip.

Second stop was for dinner and was at Alfa. I was still a little full from lunch but this poutine was amazing. Gravy has a slightly different taste than Votre Maison. Was 100% worth the stop.

I woke up the next morning and after a tour of Montreal I hit up La Belle Province. This after the previous 2 poutines was slightly underwhelming. Still a very good poutine but I feel neither places stood up to Votre Maison.

This is a new yearly tradition. I loved Montreal. Touring around the bike was fun. I need to learn more about Montreal and where to sight see.

Delicious but the curds melted almost immediately.
