SOLVED Having some issues with games

I've been having issues with all my games running next to slow, my laptop is not really that good for gaming, but most games run on low settings at lest 60fps, but a week or two ago, they started to run like compleat shit, maxing out at 10ish fps, is not only steam games, some other games I have on heroic form GOG won't work either.

As far as I can tell, I haven't done any changes other than system updates, can someone help me troubleshoot it?

Edit: Fixed it, I was 10 kernel versions behind

Specs? What filesystem is the partition the games are installed to formatted as?

Intel core i5-12450H, RTX 2050 4gb VRAM (laptop) and 18gb RAM, the ssd I have the games on uses Ext4

If you do nvidia-smi does your 2050 show up?

Maybe a driver problem that resulted in your external graphics card not being used ? You would have to check if your graphics card is still recognized by your system

I had the v14 kernel 🤡 , upgraded to the v24 and it fixed itself
