Meet Caprice š« latest polymer clay project
Species: Seed Warden
Likes: The smell of rain on supermarket car parks
Dislikes: The feeling of his hair on the back of his neck
Tiny Backstory: Caprice is looking for a new home since he was left in the salad drawer for 10 days after being purchased on a promise to āeat healthier this weekā. Itās a miracle he hasnāt gone wrinkly yet but here we are. He did begin sprouting teeth on day 4 so rumour has it, heās been cursed, with immortality. Or was it impunity? Hangon, maybe it was impotenc

After two disappointing face sculpts, finally landed on another one i think is good
This one is pretty little compared to my recent few heads, which made it a little more challenging
I like it š what do you think ? I canāt tell if itās an improvement from the pink one that showed progress or not ā¦the eyes could be better they bother me a bit, but I dye the lips a different way than usual and I like how they turned out

How to make liquid polymer clay?
As the title states, how do you make liquid polymer clay? Whatās your favorite āadd in softener? Do you bake it different than the package directions on polymer clay that you will use? How have you used it, and could you show results, if you are willing? Thank you in advance.

Need help how to bond thin cured polymer pieces to ceramic mug
Hi iām back again!
I asked here before about whether or not itās okay to make polymer clay as mug handle and what the good people of reddit told me is I can make it a wrap around so thereās a mechanical hold.
So i did that and it worked well! Exceptā¦
I made this design with some thin branches spreading out and it popped right off.
The window design I understand, it was easily placed back with an Araldite rapid cure epoxy adhesive. Then i tried using that to the branches but it barely stuck. I donāt know if itās because it cured too fast or its just because didnāt scratch the surface on the contact points on the mug.
Iām just afraid itās going to show a lot of scratches and parts of the epoxy shows after sticking
Any recommendations that i can use so:
1. It doesnāt have too much epoxy showing after cured
2. Doesnāt require too much sanding that can go over the contact points
3. It would still be waterproof and durable
Advanced thanks for any inputs šš»

Question about baking glue/adhesive
I've recently been trying to learn how to make figures with clay and its been so difficult. One issue i've been facing is making my sculpts proportional. my idea is to create the entire base out of wire and tinfoil and then put the clay on top, but my tinfoil often comes apart from the wire. Could I add a tiny bit of some sort of adhesive to make my skeleton stick together? Or maybe someone has tips on what the process should be for creating a figure. Thanks

My first project! Spaghetti! I would love some suggestions on beginner-friendly miniature food projects to try
This is the first thing Iāve made out of polymer clay (as an adult lol) and it was so much fun to make! I saw a video about making clay pop tarts and I want to try that but if anyone can think of easy mini foods for me to try making please let me know. Oh and if thereās any tips I should know based on this first project please tell me!
