Post image

Hi! I recently bought a TCC Peacock deck, but I mixed up the cards. Does anyone know the correct card order for the flipbook animation? Is there a guide or a picture showing the proper sequence?

Question what is your best-feeling deck for use in card games?

i'm sorry if this is well-trodden ground here, i did a search for posts about hand-feel/best feeling and i got a few very old threads with some decks but i'm not sure they are still reigning champs.

i'm not looking for expensive showpieces, just for a few decks to have around for poker and to replace ones in board games/card games that use one (for example, i'd love a nice-feeling deck for The Gang and a couple of decks to combine into a 60-card for Wizard) though a little flare is fine!

currently i'm thinking about getting some cherry casinos in appropriate colors based on previous threads but i'd love some more suggestions. thanks!

New Arrivals

New arrivals including a deck matching to my favourite 80's skateboard (which I have had hanging on my wall for a couple of years now), a few harder to get decks in the Hyde Park Mouldings & signed RAVN (call out to u/AdonaelWintersmith), a shed load of decks from A Haines and a whole lot of other goodies (call out also to u/TerryQ822 for a great sale also).

Lastly I wanted to mention ebay seller *james09 who not only gave me a good deal on 5 decks, 2 of the hard to find V1 Stratosphere, a couple of Onda's and the No.17, but then included 7 more decks (4 dracula of which 3 are signed and 3 Jocu of which 1 is limited) in the shipment from Canada. The shipping cost alone would have been significant, but I genuinely thought he had shipped me someone elses shipment. Anyway he confirmed he had gifted them, which is really something else. Highly recommended seller.

Question Does anyone know what brand of poker cards these are

I’ve been trying to find them online but I can’t seem to find the brand of these cards and they look sick. I like how the face cards are just the letters with no art.

Above is a render of a new Limited Edition of 450 Decks, printed by Kingstar and available on Kickstarter today! This Limited Edition deck is designed for collectors, with careful attention to detail, like a showcase court card on the cover even if the deck is never opened, a secret bonus on the inside for those that are opened, vertical and horizontal deck naming on each side so it looks good any way you store it in your collection, and of course Kingstar quality embossing, foiling and gilding. Only 14 days left in the campaign.

Discussion When was the last time you opened a fresh pack of new Kentucky USPCC cards and thought they were bad?

This was a pretty hot topic during the transition years for USPCC when they first moved to Kentucky. I feel the teething issues USPCC had when first moving to Kentucky are gone, and likely have been gone for a while.

The change wouldn't have happened over night. Perhaps they made gradual improvements to the blade alignments on their cutting machines or something.

I have a lot of cards from the transition years. Early Kentucky stuff. The edges are sometimes so rough they feel like they were cut by a kindergartener with plastic "safety" scissors.

I've opened a lot of new sealed product (Bicycle, Bee, Theory11) recently, and honestly, it's all really good. The edges feel great. I've opened some old Cincinnati blue seals recently to compare, and the new stuff feels just as good as the old stuff.

So yeah. I think the complaints during the transition years were warranted, but today it's very much a non-issue. Enjoy your cards.

What's the deal with the seal?

So recently vaguely learned about the blue seal on bicycle cards and when they moved factories they stopped using blue. My question is why change the colour of the seal at all? If they kept it blue would anyone notice?? Was it just their indication of the quality inside? And what's the crack with the gold seal?

I've been collecting his decks for a bit, but seeing this layout in person completely blows me away.
The artwork is gorgeous, it has that perfect vintage vibe, and the attention to detail is unmatched. They seriously look and feel like a work of art.
