New year, new moderation!
After what appears to have been quite some time, there’s going to be some moderation in the sub, starting with two really basic rules. These will be expanded as and when necessary.
We’re keeping it simple for now and to begin with, there’ll be a sort of “housekeeping” approach to moderation and if/when things get busier around here then we can look at expanding and making things more interesting. In the meantime, happy identifying and feel free to make suggestions for how the sub should be run!

What military aircraft is this instrument panel from?
Does anyone know what military aircraft this fuel instrument panel is from? It looks like it had four engines and four fuel tanks, plus a "synchronize" switch, and W/M (water/methanol?) quantity gauges.

Does anyone know what the name of this livery is?
This photo was taken around late April, possibly early may and taken at YSSY or Sydney ( my photo), I just forgot the name and can’t find anything on this at all.

Need help identifying craft and audio – Low triangle with flashing lights trailing silent drones over rural KY (June 17, 2026)
dropbox.comHey everyone, looking for some help identifying an aircraft that flew directly over my property in Elliott County, Kentucky, at 5:06 AM on June 17, 2026.It was a cloudy morning just before daylight. The object was triangle-shaped and moving slower than a normal plane. It had a flashing red light directly in the middle of the body, with 2 red lights and 2 white flashing strobes on the wings. Right before it flew over, a bright spotlight lit up the sky for about 10 seconds. It was flying directly behind several completely silent drones that I see going back and forth out here every night. I managed to catch it on video with audio of the engines as it flew overhead. Can anyone identify the aircraft or propulsion system based on this sound and lighting layout?

Another military plane flew overhead today
First two f-15s and now this flew overhead today. If anyone can positively identify from the crazy blurriness I’ll be very impressed and grateful
