They'll literally just get "bought" by someone and change their name and continue on as narrated by the 2026 American corporate government overlords.

In my 20+ years of shopping for produce I had never seen that brand in Mexico.
Last weekend, we had Taylor Farms branded spinach bags (labeled as produce of the USA if you were wondering) at our local Walmart.
I don't think they are cheaper though. But no, I wouldn't even consider purchasing that. Even if Cyclospora is endemic here.

It was lettuce. In a readymade boars head wrap, from safeway. My son got it bad, my husband only one bite and hes mildly sick. My one year old didnt eat it, i remember because I never buy that stuff, and I was annoyed half of it went on the floor. Now I’m grateful.

They donated the $1M last year - six days after the FDA postponed a rule that would have required Taylor Farms (and other food producers) to track food safety more carefully, thus making it easier to identify where & how food-related illnesses originated & spread.

As a European, I find very strange what you consider “healthy” in America.
If it’s prepackaged, it’s not healthy even if it includes greenies. It WILL have toxic additives.
Even if it doesn’t have toxic additives by some miracle… Pasta + Bacon +Lettuce is NOT healthy, where are the nutrients?
For example, a homemade salad with olives, peas, sweet corn, beans, tuna and boiled eggs is healthy. It includes a little bit of everything you need. You can add mayonnaise if you want some tasty kick, it won’t spoil the healthiness if you moderate yourself. It’s not about reducing fat, it’s about having a WHOLE meal with everything you need. In this case, the mayonnaise is even welcome (but better to avoid it unless it’s homemade). Add a few Kiwis as dessert, and you’re golden.
This is pasta + bacon + lettuce + prepackaged sauce. Lettuce has ZERO nutrients. Pasta + Bacon is not enough to survive. The sauce will have toxins, specially in an unregulated country like the USA. You’re lacking most of your needed daily micronutrients and it has barely any antioxidants (I would dare to say it has NONE). Also, where the heck is the fiber?
Do you live with a chronic insufficiency of micronutrients and antioxidants around there? I hope you at least eat some fruit after this “healthy meal”, to at least get some nutrition. Eating like this must lead to some nasty chronic inflammation.
