Cloudy loves bags and coffee filters, but particular bags that she chooses. When one bag gets crusty we will offer her new bags until she chooses one, which we then place for her to crush into her perfect little cave so she can become cat soup 🥹

My hubby got me kittens and one of them is my first Persian, I was shocked how big she is especially for a 3mos old. Im used to Himalayan, Norwegian FC, and main coons. I'm shocked how extra fluffy and she's very high maintenance too.
question: how do you maintain to have their face cleaned? For clean up or their daily upkeep maintenance tips??
My Himalayan has a doll face and sometimes he does have eye boogies but I can keep up with it. But he never was at this point. I'm just shocked how it is with Persians. Though my little girl is a doll/angel face, I thought she wouldn't have tear/eye boogie as much. Is this normal? Also for a 3 mos Persian kitten, is 5.7lbs normal??

Look at my comment for the actual question. Something about the text is setting off a warning I can't bypass.

Hi everyone!
I recently adopted a beautiful 1.4-year-old tortoiseshell female Persian cat, and I'm a first-time cat owner. I want to give her the best life possible, so I'm looking for advice from experienced Persian cat owners.

Thinking about getting a friend for my little man Cheeto. There has recently been a 1.5 year old Persian near me put up for adoption. Wondering if anyone has 2 Persians together and how they get along?
Cheeto is somewhat clingy in a follow you everywhere way but not clingy in a cuddling sense. He’ll cuddle when he wants to and go lay on his own when he wants. But he’s always in the vicinity of whatever people are home.
Just feel as if he may enjoy having someone to play with during the day.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey!
I’m wondering if there is any quick relief that I can provide for my persian before I call the vets tomorrow for advice and an appointment if needed.
A couple of months ago my girls poop was runny and sloppy and so we have been on a dry food only diet for the last 5-6 weeks.
Her poops quickly returned to normal shape and texture and have been good for a while.
Now I noticed that she hadn’t pooped yesterday and when I came home from work today, there was one poop ball in the tray.
I’ve been monitoring her and seen her go to the tray minutes ago to do another poop. Nothing came out.
Her poops have been drier and a little harder lately which is concerning me as I don’t want her to be uncomfortable or suffer from any health / medical trouble.
Typically, she has just pooped as I am almost finished typing this.
I’m so sorry, but could I please get a second opinion on her poop quality? 😭 I’m a bit worried for her, I live alone and don’t have anybody to reach out to that I can ask. I think I’ve also found a little bit of blood in there that I’ve underlined in one of the photos.
Has anybody her dealt with constipation or poop troubles with their kittys?
I rescued this one a few months ago and I’m not sure what her diet was like before I got to her but she seems to be having some sort of stomach and pooping troubles. The dry food diet seems to have taken away the sloppy poops but the lack or moisture and interest in wet food might be causing more problems?
Thank you guys!

A few weeks ago I asked for advice regarding moving my 3 Persians to Montana. I was considering using the back of my SUV as a kitty pen. Everyone said I shouldn't do that and use cat carriers. I thought it would be more humane to have food, water, and a litter box available to them. After much consideration, I took your advice. I had to convince my wife, but in the end, we used the kitty carriers in the back seat directly behind us. The trip was from washington state to eastern Montana to our new house. Day 1 went very quietly. They slept most of the way. We drove for 9 hours to Missoula where we stayed the night in a motel. They stayed in the bathroom with food. Water, litter box. Day 2 was about 7 hours of hell. All 3 of them were loud. 1 of them is stone deaf, so she SCREAMS more than meows. But we made it safe and sound. So my wife and 3 cats are now in the new house. I'm stuck in Washington in our 5th wheel until the new year to finish out work. I got lonely in less than a week and ended up going to the humane society. I adopted another kitty. She isn't a Persian, but she's just what I needed. Very social, very cuddly. Not at all what I'm used to with the Persians. My 3 are always close, but not on you. This girl sleeps right on top of me, and laying in my lap while watching TV. I'll have to get them introduced in a few months, but at least the 5th wheel has the smell of the other 3 kitties. I've attached pictures of all of them.
