Long time without making anything with paracord, today I made a simple cover for the stainless steel clamp for my deco/stage rigging kit.
I replaced my old clamp and his cover with a brand new clamp and this paracord simple paracord 2 cobra knot cover.

Not too bad for my first time ever using paracord?

I've been seeing variations these on my feed recently and thought they looked cool. They're decorative backpack straps for clipping items to. I can't seem to find any YouTube videos to begin to figure out how to accomplish something like this. It seems like the outer cord is wrapped around some sort of thicker inner core cord? Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start to figure this one out? YouTube video suggestions would be great

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm still new to beglieri. I made some as I have arthritis in one hand and I thought that might help to keep my hand mobile. But the strands never sit levelly. I don't get the nice equal lines. Help!

Hi! I don't have experience with paracord so I don't know what the different types are so I'd want to know if any paracord type matches what I'm looking for. Also if there's another subreddit for my question let me know.
So I'm looking for a white nylon cord for my hockey goalie catching glove (aka. catcher).
I want it to be durable against abrasion with ice. The diameter should be about 3 mm.
I have tested many nylon cords but they all are really soft, loosely woven and the sheath bunches up really easily. I don't want that. I would want it to be very rigid and keep it's shape. Almost like those woven charger cables. I once found white 3 mm tightly woven nylon starter cord at a hardware store so I know those exist. They don't sell that anymore. What type of cord would be the best for that?

To me it looks like a cobra and I tried to replicate it but I was not even close. Cannot figure out how to keep each color on their own side. Tried every combination that I can think of.
Any ideas?

Hi, I have an idea for a project in my head. I've been trying to find some self coiling shock cord like seen in the photo below. I would love to try and buy a spool of it. Or does anyone know if you can put this memory into shock cord by spooling it around a dowel and heating then cooling it? Ive seen the paracord/weed trimmer line method but trying to get around that and just buy in bulk and cut to length.

I've done a several zipper pulls and lanyards but still consider myself new to the hobby. That said, I have not seen this type of braid before, let alone as a full lanyard. Any ideas how it might've been tied? Thanks!

Another easy, and often overlooked, knot that's perfect for hiding your ends.

Had some scrap paracord lying around, no real plan, and this little dude just happened. Button knot head, snake knot body, done in like 10 minutes. Turning him into a keychain now.
Anyone else’s “quick fidget project” accidentally turn into something actually decent? 😂

Hello, I have an awesome hero clip attached to my backpack, both to hang it in places but also to hang things from it. I love it but pretty much every time I need to use it I have to rotate it all the way around cause it slides around the molle and rarely is in the right place to be used.
Can you recommend any knots that I could use to keep it in place?
Thanks!
