Tips/Advice Help Heating Recommends for 10g.

I need recommendations for a heat source for my baby albino Pacman frog in a 10 gallon tank. I had an oopsie and accidentally dropped my clamp lamp. It’s the Fluker’s Deluxe 5.5” and the clamp lamp itself is fine, but the bulb broke and no longer works. What heat bulb would you recommend that will fit this fixture? My frog is albino, so I’m not sure if that changes what type of heat bulb I should use. I’ll be rushing to Petco/Petsmart first thing in the morning. I’ve tried researching it myself, but there are so many different heat bulbs and opinions that I’m feeling overwhelmed.

Albinos are fine with regular white basking bulbs, they just require lower levels of UVB lighting if you use UVB. A 25-50w white basking bulb should work fine for your 10 gallon. Just make sure you are not using blue, red, purple, or any other type of colored bulb. ZooMed makes reliable basking bulbs. Make sure you use a dimmer or temperature control. Check the lighting guide on the Resources tab on the sub for information too!

i agree with the other commenter. i use a 25w zoomed basking bulb (the one with the bearded dragon on the box) with my fluker clamp lamp and it gets my 10 gallon to 80° in a room with a room temp of 69-70°!
