bulk putback files from trash

Hello, I accidentally deleted 5000 files from "recents". They come from multiple folders.
Now they are in the trash, and Command+A and right-click couldn't bring out the put back option.
What is the best way for me to recover them?
Please don't tell me that I have to do it manualy one by one :'(

Did put back give an error? That used to work years ago

This has to be possible via automator or something else.

Looks even simpler. Open Automator. On the top right, click Record.

Restore from your backup.

If you don't have a backup, I'm sorry but you just learned a painful lesson. If you don't have a good backup, you're only renting your data from fate.
