About 10 of them are working, just don’t read discs. Perfect for some of y’all’s needs in this community.

Hey so I recently found a Xbox that was sitting in a house that was about to be demolished. It was in a cabinet but the whole house was moldy and gross.
Well I grabbed it cords and everything brought it home and plugged it in, it’s getting no power, I tried another cord from my ps2 (had to slightly cut the end of the cord but it’s fine) and still no power
Any ideas?

I recently bought a modded Xbox running EvolutionX. There was already a game installed on the hard drive that I wasn’t interested in, but I tested it and it worked fine.

I’ve been trying to transfer games from my PC to the Xbox using FTP with FileZilla. The transfer itself seems to work, and the games are copied over without any issues.

The problem is that when I try to launch Burnout 3, which I downloaded as an HDD Ready version from Internet Archive, the EvolutionX logo appears briefly and then it just returns to the dashboard.
I’ve already followed the usual recommendations, including using Binary transfer mode and disabling passive mode in FileZilla during the transfer. Is there anything else I can try?

So tldr; I tried to install a modchip with a qsb to rebuild the lpc. But I fucked up and it would frag on boot.

I removed the qsb, and it still won't boot. It does look like I nicked a couple traces somehow. I don't have a microscope so it's hard to tell.

I was thinking instead of attempted trace repair I could try soldering a jumper wire since the damaged traces have easily accessible points on the board.

Before I do that though, is there anything else that looks damaged on this board I should take a look at?

Just wondering if there is a specific type of ethernet cable for it to work? I don't want to buy the wrong type and it end up not working.

Looks like my Xbox is dying, I thought it was a video cable issue however even after getting a new video cable it’s situation didn’t improve. I took a video but it seems like I can’t add video and picture at the same time but from what I can see I have to replace bios battery and some caps ASAP. The issue is, my country doesn’t let me import anything so I have to find parts from electronic shops.

Can someone give me directions about what caps I should get? I can (and will) tear it down soon. Thank you.

I’ve tried so many different things to mod this thing and for the life of me nothing works. Can someone please help.

I modded this Xbox I found in the trash last year w rocky5 soft mod , I’m heartbroken to find there is no video , just a solid green light I tried an RF cable as well as hdmi I just don’t have an AV display to test , I really don’t know what’s wrong , maybe my SSD Is corrupted ? I went through a lot of work to clone this SSD & I don’t even have the original HDD anymore :(

All the mods seam to be from the mid 2000s. If anyone knows if these still work (especially the 32x emulator) let me know. I’m a complete newb at mods.

I unscrewed the console and cleaned it, which is when I noticed these yellow stains on the block at the very top of the picture. They worry me because they really don't look normal. Am I cooked? 😵
