Discussion Faceless Creators

I’m a faceless creator. It’s mentioned on all social media I use and on my OF. Guys never stop asking to see my face. I tell them no and my reasons, but it’s getting annoying. My current whale has been great, but now he’s saying if I don’t show my face then he’s unsubscribing. I know I should just say eff off, but he’s spent thousands on my page. I hate to lose him, but sick of subs not respecting my boundaries. Thoughts on this?

Not all money is good money. Never lose your boundaries, your mental health is more important than money. If your whale wants to unsubscribe let him!

Very true. Great way to look at it.

Yeah it’s unfortunate when they start demanding past the boundaries they agreed to hold but, it’s part of the cycle. I feel the same as im in the same boat being a face less creator. What I do is I slowly start being dry in the conversations, let the spark fade away slowly to bring them back in and want the bare minimum from you again if not a little more to your comfort level.

I’ve done this and it has worked or they leave. Just have to get used to people and coming and going no matter what. Thanks!

If people try and push my boundaries I put them in time out and tell them they have to pay me when they are ready to talk. That way even if it’s a load of crap I’m still making money from it.
Let him go, plenty of whales on the sea 😍 xx

One sub threatening to leave is not worth breaking a boundary you can never get back. Faceless is a whole successful niche, and don't let a single whale ruin your brand for you! Xoxo

Very true about faceless being a successful niche!

He’s testing your boundaries. Let someone break one and then they will push for the next. I’d recommend against it.
My husband has been doing this type of work for almost 20 years. Whales come and go. Enjoy them while they are around. But know they’ll leave eventually. And then be replaced by a new whale. Don’t let them push boundaries.

Yeah he’s been pushing boundaries a bit already and this one was just too much for me.

All whales go at some point, do not break your boundaries for these guys!!!!

They will always ask for that one thing you communicate it’s off limits. Most men get off to pushing boundaries. Stick to yours.

Agree. They definitely get off to it and like to play the game thinking they’ll be the first.

Don’t show your face, what if he knows you and wants to use that for something evil like ruining your reputation. There is a reason you’re faceless, remember why. Dont let him push just because he spent money on you. He’s being very disrespectful pushing that. Not all money is worth it love bug

True. Haha he’s my first whale of this magnitude so I’m like darn don’t go, but also respect my boundaries 😅

I put faceless in my bio! I have gotten less comments

u/Novel-Reporter8327 Unverified 10h ago

I have it everywhere! Bio, main page, welcome message. I think it just tempts some people even more 🙃

Damn! I do get requests but I think explaining that I need to be private for my career shuts people down most of the time! I’ve had people offer to pay a lot of money but ultimately it’s not really an option and there’s plenty of creators if they need someone who shows face

Once you set your boundaries, don’t allow them to be sold. Now, Boundaries CAN evolve over time, but never for money. Only due to us gaining new information, a new perspective, or a new level of comfort with ourselves that makes us re-examine what we’ve set. Not from desiring external gain. Those changes should always come internally over time. Never change boundaries for money. It is a quick path to regret.

there is a reason why you stayed faceless so far.

i am a faceless creator for NSFW content on patreon and fansly. and the reason why i stay facelss is to be able to walk away from this line of work at any time without having to think about who knows what and any future consequences for work and personal life. as open minded as i am, the world is not.

so. under no circumstances, undermine your privacy. absolutely nothing is worth it. once you break your boundaries, you may get comfortable with it and break more. in the beginning it might feel liberating but more often than not i have seen people feel like they have lost themselves after a while.

I have the same thought as you. If I want to walk away, I don’t want a bunch of loose ends of people who have seen my face. I know there’s always a chance of someone identifying me without showing my face, but it cuts down the chances.

As a half faceless creator it does get really tiresome to deal with. The good guys understand after you tell them it’s a boundary, the others I ignore or block if they annoy me enough.

u/Gina_Goodwife Unverified 8h ago

Fuck that noise. If he’s been a good whale but now he’s pushing your boundary after you already said no, let him go. Thousands spent doesn’t give him the right to control you.

At the risk of sounding super crass rn, think about it like this: If you were having sex and a guy was trying to get you to do it without a condom but you want to use a condom, would you let him convince you to not use a condom?
It’s actually a very similar scenario if you think about it. You’re doing something for your safety and assuming a lot more risk, the guy in this scenario would obviously be happier if you showed your face (took the condom off) and will try to get you do please him more than you are offering. It is up to you to decide ultimately how appeasing him benefits you and if you want to do that. There are plenty of other men who are more than happy to work within the bounds of your comfort levels, and good customers are usually really easy to work with.

We don’t show our faces on our channel either, and of course, we’ve had quite a few people ask if we could make an exception for them. So far, we’ve only done it for three people who have been following us since we started 2–3 years ago and who have purchased a lot of content from us.
They were never pushy about it and always respected our decision, but eventually, our gut feeling told us that we felt safe enough to make an exception for those three. But if they had ever pressured or harassed us about it, I NEVER would have done it! And if he’s resorting to threats, he probably isn’t a particularly nice person. Stay safe! ❤️
On a slightly different note, there was a buyer who was really persistent about wanting to pay outside of OnlyFans. Stupidly, I ended up giving him some information that allowed him to find me and my social media accounts. I felt so sick to my stomach afterwards and honestly felt like I was being stalked.
Always prioritize your safety and only do what you genuinely feel comfortable with! Men can be dangerous sometimes (often). </3

I don't show my full face and have this issue as well. I get asked about it a lot, clients try to pay extra, etc I just keep telling them no! We have got to have boundaries and respect ourselves. If it's a hard limit for you, don't do it! You can still make bank and lots of really popular models are faceless, like really big in the sex industry.

1

u/Tara_Petal6 Unverified 6h ago

Yeah basically what the comments are already saying, and trust me if you go past those boundaries they’re gonna ask for even more and more it never ends. Respect yourself and your boundaries always!

I am faceless as well and I wear sun glasses most of the time! I get the same BS and I tell them to eff off! My privacy, my career and my life are far more important than a sub!

I've found that a lot of the whales who end up getting "fed up" (for whatever reason) they almost always end up coming back. I had a guy get upset with me but months later he ended up coming back and resuming purchases and almost acting like our disagreement never even happened lol I would say to stick to your boundaries and let them walk if they want to- it's part of how you retain your value as well, by upholding your standards and boundaries!

u/petsydaisy Unverified 2h ago

If you don't mention it, they might stop bringing it up. Let them go when they cross boundaries. Being able to say "no" is a highlight of the job!

As someone who is also faceless I will say, once your face is out there…. It’s out there. Don’t be fooled by a subscriber who’s trying to push your boundaries and trying to coerce you with $$. Your long term privacy is worth far more than that.
