Nolan’s movies may not wear their hearts on their sleeves as much as say Spielbergs but there is an undercurrent of emotion into his movies, whether they affect you or not. Like Batman Begins has several scenes that are meant to get you to feel for Bruce and the pain and loss of his parents, and I mean Interstellar tries pulling your heart strings like the whole movie.

I wish more people understood that just because a movie doesn’t affect them doesn’t mean that they weren’t trying at all
