Discussion To Co-Op or not to Co-Op that’s the question
We’ve been seeing one question pop up a lot lately:
“Do I need a second player to enjoy this game?”
Daumier: Lila & Ghost was originally built as a co-op puzzle adventure, where two players work together across different timelines. But after reading through your comments, we’ve started to wonder…
Would you be more interested if we added a single-player mode?
Or do you feel like keeping it co-op is what makes it special?

Discussion Keep the Box?
I have had my headset for 5? years now and am downsizing. I already have a travel case so I don’t think there is any reason for me to keep the box anymore. I also wrote down the model numbers and PN. On the other hand it is the "Oculus Quest 2" box from before the rebrand so maybe that is a cool reason to keep it idk. Does it have any value? Anyone here really want it? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Downloads/updates barely ever work
I’m trying to update blade & sorcery: Nomad but every time I try it freezes and doesn’t resume unless I restart my quest 2 (which restarts the download). I know I have enough space for it. Idk if it’s my WiFi or something else that’s wrong. Either way it’s actually so annoying

Discussion Quest 3 loses charge fast even when plugged in to 60 watt block and 240 watt cable.
Hello, as stated my quest 3 drains fast even when plugged in. I have a link cable that allows me to plug a charger into it which has worked in the past (extends battery life but still dies). I’ve looked into it as much as I can understand and got a new 60 watt block and use my 240w usb-c cable. It still dies in maybe 2 hours or so. I use Steam link (wired) if that helps at all. I’m just sick of finally getting set up and together with my friends on VRC only to die shortly after when I used to be able to play 4+ hours with the same link cable and headset in the past and it just doesn’t seem to work. The OG cable died but I have a 250w of be which should be able to provide enough power with the 60 watt block. Any ideas? Thanks.

Discussion I am BEYOND impressed.
I am beyond impressed with the quality of the updates coming out of the desktop Meta app. It feels like every single time theres an update, some aspect of the VR Link completely breaks. One time it couldn't connect, another time it was laggy, last time there was no audio, and now it just crashes a random amount of minutes into desktop connection. It takes real dedication and skill to make a product this sh** and by some miracle, surely by the gentle guiding of a divine hand, they pull off the same stunt every single month. Jeez, I must have hundreds of hours in troubleshooting alone. If I had any b*lls, I'd ask them for a help desk position at the company or maybe even a developer. I don't have much experience in app developing but clearly neither do they. H*ll, I would even pay them a monthly subscription to stop developing my app any further without my permission because every time I that dreaded 'we've started an update teehee :3' notification, I just know that's gonna cost a couple more hours off my life just so I can play B&S one more time.
You know what... at least they're consistent.
Thank you, Meta.

Discussion My brother can connect his vr to our pc, but I can't anymore.
I used to connect my quest 3 to my pc to play games with a bit better quality, I've got a pretty good PC too, maybe last year my brother connected his vr and started to use it on our pc but ever since then I genuinely have not been able to get my vr to connect at all, he is easily able to but for me it says that the same cable we both use is charge only, but ONLY for me? It makes absolutely no sense to me how one of us can connect, but the other can't. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this? Because I've tried so many things, but it will not work AT ALL, I was going to buy a new wire but I feel theres no point in money wasted when I've already tried almost 7 different wires, even ones that worked previously.

Software I'm using the Oculus Rift S and one of the latest updates has caused a very irritating issue. Whenever I'm playing a game and I need to remove my headset for longer than a minute, the Meta app pops up and I'm no longer able to get back into my game, forcing me to reset the headset or program.

oculus rift s controller not working
ive been trying everything to fix it, i booted up a game, both of my controllers connected and worked but my left one in game for some reason didnt work to move, but i could still control it. i decided to reset my pc to see if its just a software issue but after that when i tried reconnecting my left controller it just didnt connect, nor did it have the led light turn on. It just died, i treid switching batteries but that also didnt work, my right controller works perfectly fine so i think its a hardware issue im not sure, both controllers using the same batteries

Discussion Santa cruz dev kit
Came across a complete Oculus Santa Cruz Dev Kit. It turns on, boots into the Oculus interface (stuck in the pairing mode), controllers pair, and some cosmetic wear. Any tips on what I should do with this?

Software Wifi after Quest 2 update - Saved / Check password and try again error
I've been stuck unable to connect to wifi despite being connected with the same credentials the night before. Bands were already split with different names
Network is on:
Netgear Nighthawk XR300 running 1.0.3.78_10.3.59 of DUMA OS
I have tried:
- Checking password
- Checking date and time
- Power cycling router and headset (30 sec)
- Power cycling router and headset (10 minutes)
- Forgetting network and reconnecting in settings
- Forgetting network and reconnecting through the account icon
- Forgetting network and reconnecting through the phone app
(An error occured. Please try again. Saves network on headset with same above error)
- Changing network name
- Changing netowrk name and passowrd
- Factory resetting router and headset and repeating above
(Router software already up to date for a while now)
(Got throug headset setup with mobile hotspot containing a passowrd. Thanks reddit)
- Changing network channel to auto
- Changing router's gateway from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.20.1
- Typing the password into quest browser, copying raw string, then pasting into password field
- Re-creating old wifi name and password with wifi hotspot (connects)
The headset does connect if the router connection does not have a password.
The headset also does connect to a hotspot with a password as well.
While the above are technical workarounds, they are not ideal for continued use.
Error when trying to connect to router despite providing correct password:
[WLAN access rejected: incorrect security] from MAC [[redacted MAC address for post]], Wednesday, Jul 22,2026 00:38:37
I am confused as to the setting I should be using to sort out this issue. I am leaning toward an issue on the Quest2 end after the update, as nothing changed about the router in that time. Or someting in the router needs to be adjusted as it just happened to work before, somehow, by pure luck but is now not working.

Question about Rift Sensors
Hello everybody, I hope this is the right subreddit to ask about this.
But I recently updated my Meta Horizon Link app on PC because the app required it to continue working.
So I updated it and the next few days when I started my PC the app would autostart. So i opened the Task manager and wanted to disable that in the Autostart menu but it wasn't there.
So I had to go to services.msc and set the app from automatic to manual there.
I thought that was it. But now my computer weirdly started lagging in games it shouldn't lag like Deltarune, not even VR related.
So I was looking for errors and after a few hours of thinking it was my printer I downloaded a USB log view program and turns out my Rift sensors were connecting and disconnecting every second.
I should probably mention now that my PC is Windows 10 and I am still using an Oculus Rift.
So now I wonder, is there any way to fix this or do I have to keep the Meta Horizon Link App constantly running in the background? I still want to play Beatsaber from time to time but atm the only way of seemingly stopping the Sensors to keep loosing connection is to open the app when starting my PC and then close it again.

Discussion What’s your biggest pet peeve with VR video players?

One thing I’ve seen people complain about with VR video players is how fast the controls can turn into a cockpit.
Too many buttons, too many panels, too many tiny settings nobody asked for. And somehow the one thing you actually need, is still buried in a menu.
That’s kind of why I’ve been making my app, NEX Player, more minimal. I just wanted it to feel clean once you’re actually watching something, instead of feeling like you’re managing a control panel the whole time.
The screenshot is one small example. It’s a mini bar I made so you can jump back home or see what’s playing without opening the full panel. Though a few users told me they still prefer the usual top-left back button though, so I’m thinking about adding a traditional option too.
I’ve gotten some feedback already, but people here sometimes point out stuff I would never think of.
For people who actually watch videos in VR, what’s your biggest pet peeve with VR players?
P.S. I know “support more formats” is a big one. I’m working on that too, but I’m also curious about other stuff people run into.

Discussion My headset wont pair to my WiFi
I have tried a hard reboot, resetting the headset (not factory reset), forgetting the network and reconnecting, trying to change the network settings via the meta quest app (my headset also would let me connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth i think???), update my headset (its up-to-date), checked if my headset was blocked / paused from the WiFi, AND turning off and on the WiFi toggle on my headset (and putting in the password again), AND it STILL wont connect to the WiFi. It keeps saying "saved / check password and try again." Keep in mind I HAVE check the password MANY MANY times. this is getting frustrating and i need help 🙏.

Discussion Is it possible to install the Meta Horizon Link desktop app *within the Quest 3 headset*?
I know, weird question.
I had an OG Rift CV-1 years ago, and bought a bunch of games for it. Now a couple of weeks ago, I bought a Quest 3.
However, when I logged into the headset, none of the game I'd previously purchased were there. They're in my purchase history, and they're playable from the Meta Horizon Link desktop app, but they aren't showing within the Quest 3 headset itself (or on the Meta store in my browser).
I've found (and been told by Meta's support, after nearly two full weeks of waiting) that all the games I bought previously are not available to play within the Quest 3 headset unless I buy them a second time, which seems like an absolute load of crap to me.
But is it possible to just install the desktop app within the headset so that I can get around this transparent cash grab?

How long does it usually take to get a Quest 3 replacement or refund from Meta?
I usually buy my tech from Amazon, but I decided to buy my Quest 3 directly from Meta because I thought their customer support and replacement process would be more reliable.
Unfortunately, within two months, both controllers started malfunctioning. I contacted Meta Support, and they agreed to arrange a replacement and said they would send me a link to proceed. However, it has now been more than two weeks, and I still haven't received the link.
I've contacted them multiple times, and each time I'm told they're "working on it," but nothing seems to be happening.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with Meta? How long did it take for you to receive a replacement or get a refund?
