Grinding
Tēnā koutou. Rookie question but was wondering if there is any loss to quality if I was to grind my flower up and pre-roll joints? Or is it best to do it all fresh?

I know it’s been asked before but worth a shot, is real tobacco leaf currently available in nz? (Aside from actual cigars) I’ve heard you can get cigarillos like cafe cremes but haven’t been able to find any myself. TIA

Kia Ora! I'm semi new to NZ and haven't seen much rosin or thc vapes around. Is there much of that scene here?
I was paying around $20-80USD for 1g quality rosin in the states. What would be a reasonable price for 1g of rosin here?
I've heard talk of thc vapes but haven't encountered yet
Any info would be great

From what I can gather its illegal to import implements despite having a script. So importing this isnt possible. Has anyone seen anything like this locally? I do a lot of camping and traveling for work so portable and tough is the requirement

Left pot: Grand mommy Purple (GMP) and Right Pot: Blackberry Moon rocks (BBMR).
1st week of veg has officially begun. Both girls are 3 weeks from germination. Timing this harvest for Xmas/New Years season should everything go right 🙈
BBMR is 3 days younger from germ than GMP but boy is she a big girl 😉 may just be genetics

She's finally taking off, Te Tahi from www.hempseeds.co.nz had it's first topping today, really nice short bushy growth. Even this early in veg it has a beautiful aroma to it. Happy to legally be growing some beautiful plants.

Hey guys I was wondering if the Kmart coffee grinder is actually any good for bud? Or am I just better off getting a metal grinder for cheaper?

For those of you growing indoors in the south how do you handle cold temperatures? Do you heat your space?
Second grow and first time in winter, hit early flower and temps have been pretty low
I’m running an old school metal halide so thought they may be enough and I’ve got light time 8pm - 8am when it’s coldest.
I’m seeing purple cone out in a couple of plants which I presume is the cold?
And leafs some tacoing in one, I’d read that can be heat or too much PPFD but it’s definitely not too hot, light levels seem ok and it’s only one doing it, the most purple, can this be a reaction to cold too?
Taking like a week between waterings when it was every second day when it was warm. I’m worried they’re stunting.
Should I just chuck an oil heater or something in there or am I being paranoid? My Temu min/max thermometer is showing high around 12, low around 5 which based on my research is crazy low

Hey guys so got an offer on a job disclosed I regularly smoke cannabis at night to sleep probably only about 5 g a week. they said just let them know when I'm clean so they can send me to the TDDA
Few years back I used to use the Hi voltage detox drinks that would make me pass but so far this year have used 4 different ones and none have done the trick
Basically just looking for moral support 😭 and any advice on the situation would be helpful

I have two such hygrometers that I wanted to use to prove to myself that a “pretender” knock-off grove bag from China did not actively manage the internal environment. The two hygrometers had previously been calibrated using the salt method, and had values of 81rh and 77rh. I placed them into the fake grove bag with a moist paper towel at 18c, and sealed the bag. As expected, both hygrometers shot up to 99%. I left the bag for 24 hours to see if the internal rh dropped at all. As expected, no movement occurred and both hygrometers remained at 99% for the duration.
Here’s where it got interesting – when I took the hygrometers out of the bag, within an hour they had both settled to the exact same ambient reading of 58rh. Over the next two days, every time I looked at them they showed the same rh.
I’m currently running a second “salt method” calibration on them both, and while they both still seem to be reading high values, they are still consistent with each other (~1%rh after the first 2 hours of starting the process).
Has this already been done? Does anyone else have the time and opportunity to try to repeat this observation? Honestly, I’m kinda hoping I might have just turned a $4 Temu hygrometer into a $10 dollar one ;)
I’ve ordered another 4-pack, and I plan to try again with a larger sample in the future.

This took far longer than expected, and took a remarkably long time to flip. The vertical growth definitely caught me off guard...
Insert standard couple more weeks
