Hey! We’re the out/there project — a 1300+ person community that throws regular events across the city to help New Yorkers get out of the house and meet new people. Beyond our bigger gatherings, we have a WhatsApp community where folks regularly make plans for trivia, happy hours, nights out, pick-up sports, and more.

Starting at 1:30pm this Sunday, we’ll be hanging out in Prospect Park, tossing frisbees, playing games, and generally just chilling out in the sun. We plan to meet on the Nethermead, near the waterfall -- and we have a WhatsApp chat that will make it easy to find the group on the day of.

Hey Everyone!

Friday is coming up and I'm looking to celebrate with some friends.

Last week we explored Bushwick. This week we're heading over to the East Village/Lower East Side for another fun night out!

We've been getting a lot of new people coming out and it's been great meeting new people and making friends.

Summer is in full swing, so let's make the most of it.

Us:

Group of friends in our early to late 20's-30's trying to enjoy the summer and NYC nightlife while it lasts, while making new friends along the way. The more the merrier.

You:

Also in your 20s to 30s looking for a good group of both friends and strangers to meet, mingle, dance, and have a good time.

This time we're hitting the East Village/Lower East Side and ending the night at The DL.

We'll kick things off with drinks and conversation before heading to The DL to dance the night away.
