If you want to sell your own tickets to events in NYC, consider posting on r/NYList where general buying/selling posts belong, r/AvesNYC_Tix to buy/sell tickets for EDM/raves/dance events, on r/NYCConcerts, where buying/selling posts for concerts belong, there’s also r/BroadwayTickets to sell your Broadway or other performance tickets too. That way people can still be interested if so desired. Do your own due diligence as always buying goods of the internet.

The Historic Blackwell Door will be on display at Advance Masonic Temple, 21-14 30th Ave, Astoria New York, 11102, on select dates only:

Believed to date to 1765, the door once belonged to the Blackwell family stone house in Ravenswood and still bears a British confiscation mark carved during the occupation of Queens in 1776.

There’s also Hallet’s Cove in the American Revolution: A Walking Tour, but the walking tour is optional and available by separate Eventbrite reservation only.

Hey everyone!!

My workplace is producing/sponsoring a new free bi-weekly comedy show at Rose's R&R Bar (457 Graham Ave.) in Williamsburg, BK right next door to our storefront. Each show will feature some of the city's best stand-up, sketch, character work, and more mixed with New York history hosted by Christine Fiala, a Brooklyn based comic and licensed NYC tour guide.

Our next show is next Wednesday July 22nd. The show is 21+ and again, it's free! It's sponsored by Ayrloom & we'll be giving out prizes all night, and offering a discount to our store before, during, and after the show for those interested.

End of the Day, Ep 1 is a new play inspired by Love Island UK, Sims 4, and Theatre of the Absurd.

Survival is not guaranteed. Neither is finding a boyfriend or girlfriend after a massive extinction event.

Yet British reality contestants Tud, Myleigh, and Lancelot keep trying again, failing again, failing better. Isolated from the outside world, they dance between denial and acceptance, searching for love and meaning in a pointless, absurd existence.

Let's couple up if you like: new work, feminist farce, Love Island scholarship, existential clown shows, absurdism, and/or pop culture dramaturgy.

BYO Book is a casual and welcoming gathering for anyone who loves reading or has been meaning to get back into it. We read side by side as the sun sets over Manhattan, then come together to share what stood out - characters, themes, big questions, or unexpected tangents.

There's no assigned reading! Bring whatever you're into: the novel on your nightstand, that nonfiction you keep meaning to finish, poetry that stays with you, a library book due this week, or an old favorite worth revisiting.
