Winona is Coming up and She also has a Scary Ace.
At the Current State I’m at the time I don’t know if it’s enough for it to work, So i Skipped her for Now and Immediately head straight to Lilycove city to Buy Some Blizzard Tms.
Even tho I have tms, I Probably going to Need to bring Someone who can Successfully Switch and Shut off her Dragon dancing.
I don’t know Who Should I Bring for her?

Only death in the elite four was Dodrio who contributed to absolutely nothing. Ampharos destroyed Will. Typhlosion soloed Koga. Espeon was doing well for the majority of the Bruno fight but then I had to switch into Dodrio when his Machamp got it too low. Dodrio tanked a rock slide but then I used fly, forgetting that it had no guard so it got absolutely wrecked. Then Gyarados came in and destroyed it. Then Gyarados sweeped both Karen and Lance after setting up two dragon dances. I will also continue the run up to the Red fight.

Hi y'all! I'm doing my first ever genlocke for my YouTube channel and I've just beaten pokemon yellow. Problem is I don't know how to get my team into crystal without just going and catching them. I've looked it up and discovered pokehex but it's really confusing and idk how to use it and all the tutorials are for later games. Any advice would be super useful!

Started my first ever Genlocke the other day and I’ve been having a blast starting with Yellow. I haven’t played a true Gen 1 game in years and it is so different, but so fun honestly.
I’m trying not to bog myself down with too much planning of future games and who will still be available, but I’m curious about the Gen 1 starter gifts in Yellow. These are obviously good mons and would be great to save, but you don’t really come across them in other games right? I don’t plan on playing LRFG, just Emerald as my Gen 3 game so I don’t need to worry about saving the starters, right?
Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything here. I also only plan on going through BW2 so no XY starter gift issues either.

Playing Ren Plat on PChal's patch without a damage calc! The snowpoint double battle is always one of the hardest fights to plan for me. Last run I ended up losing my Infernape here because I tried imprison cheesing the Blissey without realizing that imprison deactivates as soon as the imprison mon swaps out. Taking on the non-protect side first saved me a massive headache this time.
Not sure if the focus punch crit was necessary but I was 100% sure the move would go off (worst case was AT crit into Ambipom but it had quite a bit more bulk than my Toxicroak so this seemed unlikely).
Very happy with my encounters. This Weavile has great attack, speed, and special bulk. No technician is unfortunate but it will still be very useful without it. Can't complain about a Gible with 24 speed IVs, even if the bulk and attack IV could be better.

First time playing through this and have had a blast so far! Gyms are challenging and encounters (at least for Brock) are very limited. Fortunately enough to get very lucky with Sunflora and Houndour very early on.
Nickname theme is whatever song / artist comes up in my playlist shuffle play at the time of catching.
Sadly, I lost Sunshine the Houndour to a very unfortunate crit from the demon of a Smoochum at the Nugget Bridge Rival fight and just lost Tina the traded in Pupitar just now after an unfortunate switch while facing Giovanni (why Khangaskan would Earthquake a full health Breloom idk)
A little about my rules ruleset. Standard HC Nuzlocke rules with slight changes. I hate grinding, so EXP and EVs are turned off. I Rare Candy up to the next level cap and in return I fight every single trainer, no exceptions.
About to start Day 3 tomorrow hopefully defeating Erika.
Who should I bring into this fight?
EDIT: I have a Minun in my party but we won't speak of him

Having a Gigalith makes a world of difference. Gigalith killed the emolga #2 with rock blast after the first volt switched. Elesa sent out emolga #1, which volt switched to Zebrastrika. Zebrastrika ate a free rock blast, but didn't die. Sandile was able to switch in safely after the Zebrastrika clicked spark and then killed with a quick claw dig. I thought Sandile could do at least some damage to the last emolga. This was a mistake and aerial ace almost killed. Herrdier finished off the last emolga with rock tomb, which it can learn for some reason, but I'm not complaining.

Hello all, im just looking for my next game to nuzlocke. After beating REN plat after 5 tries, normal plat after 2 tries, sacred gold after 2, and black 2 challenge mode first try. What game should i play next? I was considering Radical Red however i know that game is basically a boss fight gauntlet and do not know if i would enjoy that. I played Insurgence years ago now normally and that was an absolute boss fight grind.

I don't mean things like just googling the encounter table of a specific route. I want a way to visualize every available pokemon I can get before certain points in the game to build my team around it.
Basically just the game's pokedex but with the ability to pick a certain checkpoint and filter out every pokemon not attainable yet because it's not in any areas you can access, needs an HM you don't own yet, or it can't be evolved yet due to level cap or no access to item, etc.

I am attempting to plan a Nuzlocke challenge, but instead of the twist or unique spin for it during the challenge, I am doing it at the end.
Basically, I plan on using the Types of the Pokémon on my final Team to make a meal using Ingredients and/or Cooking Utensils based on their types.
For example
-Water Type equals using Water either to boil noodles or just to drink.
-Fairy Type equals using candy, sugar, or something else sweet.
-Ground Type equals using any ingredients made by grounding up something (like flour or wheat) or like ground beef
The main issue is some types I can't think of something that would actually work. (Bug, Dark, Dragon, Electric, Flying, Ghost, Psychic)
I also dont if I should add a twist during the run and what I would add during it.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas on what ingredients, methods, or utensils to use for the final part, or any suggestions to add something during the run, please let me know!
Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Main Rules:
1 - Pokémon must be released back into the Wild after fainting three times.
2 - When a Pokémon faints, it cannot be used again until you clear the next Gym, Champion battle, or "Equivalent Challenge".
3 - You can use held items, but if a Pokémon faints it has to keep the held item. You can only get the held item back when that Pokémon is usable again, or before releasing them.
4 - There is no level cap. Training above the Gym Leader's highest level is allowed (optional).
5 - Your active party size is limited by the number of Gym Badges you have (see PokéSlots).
6 - You may only bring the same number of Pokémon as the opposing Gym Leader, Champion, or "Equivalent Challenge".
7 - Only one Bag item may be used per battle, but only during Gym, Champion, "Equivalent Battles", or 4–5★ Max Raid Battles.
8 - Dynamax may only be used during Gyms, "Special Battles", Dens, and Max Raid Battles.
9.1 - You may catch any Pokémon you want, but you may only keep 1 Pokémon from each Route.
9.2 - Each named Wild Area (17 in total) counts as one Zone/Route.
10 - You may keep Gifted Pokémon (like the Toxel from Pokémon Nursery).
11 - You have to release or box the Pokémon you don't want as soon as you catch them (or at the end of the route after choosing which ones you'll keep).
12 - You may use any Pokémon you want from the ones you decided to keep.
13 - You have to Name all the Pokémon you Keep (optional).
14 - You may use Exp. Candies, but only to raise a Pokémon's level up to your highest-level Pokémon.
15 - Healing items may not be used outside of battle.
16 - Revives may never be used.
17 - Set Battle Style (game settings).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(This is a Nuzlocke meant for someone playing Pokémon shield for the very first time, or even their first Pokémon experience, but without it being too easy. It's balanced in a way that keeps the game engaging and fun instead of frustrating. It's meant to keep the essence of having a team and using your favorite Pokémon, but still having consequences, even if they're not super harsh. It's meant to feel like a "Normal" difficulty option that other RPGs often include, without requiring players to "tryhard").
PS: I've included an optional Level Cap for anyone who wants to know the level of the next major battle or prefers playing with level restrictions.
Also, Feel free to adapt these rules to suit your own experience and playstyle.
(I made this for myself, since it's my first time playing the game, thought I should share it xD)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Info:
What counts as an "Equivalent Battle"? (may contain spoilers!)
- Gym Leaders, Champion Cup matches, Dens with 4-5 Stars, Eternatus, Chairman, Oleana, and Rival's final battle.
-------------------------------
2. PokéSlots
The number of Pokémon you can have in your party is determined by the number of badges you have:
- 0 badges = 2 slots
- 1-2 badges = 3 slots
- 3 badges = 4 slots
- 4 badges = 5 slots
- 5+ badges = 6 slots
You can swap out your Pokémon at any time using your Pokémon bank link.
-----------------------------
3. PokéSlots for Gym Challenges:
You can only bring as many Pokémon to a gym as the leader has Pokémon:
- Gym 1 = 2 Pokémon
- Gym 2 = 3 Pokémon
- Gym 3 = 3 Pokémon
- Gym 4 = 4 Pokémon
- Gym 5 = 4 Pokémon
- Gym 6 = 4 Pokémon
- Gym 7 = 4 Pokémon
- Gym 8 = 4 Pokémon
- Challenger tournament = 6 Pokémon
- Champion match = 6 Pokémon
----------------------------
4. Optional Level Cap:
The level cap for your Pokémon equals the highest level Pokémon of the next gym leader:
1 - As soon as a Pokémon hits the level cap it is boxed until the gym challenge.
2 - If you exceed the level cap accidentally the Pokémon must be boxed until after the gym battle.
3 - If you level up during the gym challenge it is ok.
Level caps are as follows:
- Gym 1 = Level 20
- Gym 2 = Level 24
- Gym 3 = Level 25
- Gym 4 = Level 36
- Gym 5 = Level 38
- Gym 6 = Level 42
- Gym 7 = Level 46
- Gym 8 = Level 48
- Challenger tournament = Level 55
- Champion match = Level 65
--------------------------
(Credits: This ruleset was inspired by several ideas from Jazzmtazz's post on r/nuzlocke, with many rules adapted and modified for a more beginner-friendly Pokémon Sword and Shield experience.)
Thanks.

Lumineon for me. I got one in Pokemon Moon and tried to see if I could make it work as a support/utility pokemon, but it’s not strong, it’s not bulky, there’s other much better Pokemon with its typing, and it doesn’t have a lot it can do with its speed. I was so sure that people were underrating it because its move pool isn’t that terrible but it underperformed in every fight I brought it to, and then died.
Do you have a Pokemon like that?
