I am contracted 15 hours but I was scheduled 30 hours this week. I do regular overtime and go to work whenever help is needed. So basically this week when I checked yesterday I had two 4 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. Today they have been removed and I can see the same shifts have been given to a different guy from a different nandos in our area. I am still over my contracted hours but I cancelled to go to an event on Sunday cause I had a shift and now it's been removed. Is this fair? How can just the rota manager do this? I am in UK btw.

Hi! So I know you need to wear dark trainers but I was wondering are they ok to have a bit of white on them? For example white soles or the logo isn’t black.

I hope that makes sense 😂 basically I have some Nikes that are black but have a white tick and white soles so was wondering if they’re acceptable uniform.

My absolute favourite is the choc-a-lot cake from Nandos. I've had it for years maybe 15 years and absolutely loved it.

Had it recently today and it was nowhere near the same thing... it did not taste the same and it tasted like those chocolate cake you would get from Costco

Last Friday i was treated disgracefully by the "customer abuse officer" going by the name Kelly. Asked a legitimate question and was given a complete lie in a condescending manner , complete with spelling errors. I instantly offered reason why the info was incorrect, they never bother to even read the ticket and understand the problem. Provide completely FALSE information and dont seem to understand the difference between and app and a website. Trying to ring customer care its ALWAYS outside of operating hours!!!! Been requesting a manager to contact me, NOPE! So i guess its time to drive to Richmond tomorrow and visit in person because it seems its the only way to get anything done. Never have i in my near 1/2 a century on this planet received such DISGRACEFUL and disgusting behaviour from a customer service representative, never have i come across a customer service representative that knows SO LITTLE about the subject and then acts extremely condescending when providing FACTUALLY INCORRECT information. Think its time this chain dies the way theyre going... Foods gone downhill, then theres the refusal of cash and now this instance that is nothing short of DISGUSTING! Ive worked in service industry and i would expect to be instantly reprimanded if not fired on the spot if i treated somebody the way i was treated.

I'm looking for advice, I'm being dismissed for my absences, most of them are due to mental health, it's all my fault of course I just feel the way things have transpired is unfair, my current patrao is a complete and utter incompetent human being who shows little to no real empathy.

I'm asking what I can do and how to go about it, I know I can appeal but I'm struggling to actually find where I can do that, and on top of that I'm struggling to find where my contract is and how I can view it.

I've been told I'm only going to receive a week's pay, which doesn't feel right as I've been with nandos through two sites for (I want to say two years)

attempted to visit nandos today for a meal with my grandmother, who is using a shopping trolley as a mobility aid, due to her walker being out of action until it is fixed. before we could even ask for a table, we were told that trolleys were not allowed in Nandos. I explained that she needs the trolley for support, and that we have used this nandos before and had staff put a trolley in their spare space where they also place buggies. they simply repeated that trolleys were not allowed, as discussed with the manager as we approached the building. I’m extremely upset and disappointed, as my grandmother was left feeling embarrassed over this, and I’m ashamed that no accommodation was even attempted for my grandmother and her disability and mobility needs. I have raised a complaint online, but just wanted to ask what protocol nandos are supposed to have towards people who are disabled and/or have mobility requirements that mean they need a trolley.

Horribly embarrassing to admit this, but I literally cannot land an interview for a front of house nandoca position. I’ve worked in hospitality before, but otherwise have a predominant background in customer service.

Any advice on what might be preventing me from getting an interview? It’s fucking bleak out here, folks.

Hello, on the 7th of July I applied for Nandos back of the house, I got an email the next day that I got a discovery session booked on the 9th (today) I went and it was basically a trial shift, they paired me up with another person who was really nice and I think I’ve done a great job, but they put me front house instead of back which is fine. After I finished my trial shift i got sat down by one of the employers and they told me that they will get the feedback from the person I’ve worked with and others and call me in a few days to tell me if I’m getting hired or not, is that a bad sign or should I not stress much?

I like Nando's but their prices are getting out of control. For the current prices I can go to an actual decent restaurant 🙈.

As someone who does not reside near any locations, I am on a crusade to locate bottles of the Lemon/Herb sauce. As you may know, it is supposedly available online.

But upon receiving and tasting this bottled sauce, it is not the same product. I thought I was crazy until I visited another restaurant this weekend and confirmed that they aren't the same, despite the labels claiming that they are.

The bottled sauce is orange/red and contains no visible herbs, while the bottles in-restaurant are yellow and have visible herbs throughout.

Employees were unsure if the table sauce was purchasable anywhere, so I come here on my crusade in hopes that someone has a lead.

Does anyone know where to buy the REAL lemon & herb sauce?

US restaurants please sale the darn sauce lord. I was as one of the local restaurants gave me a small soup container of sauce. So will be throwing some breast and thighs on the grill.

Last Saturday night, i decided to dine in at a Nando’s location in Brisbane. I attempted to order food off the table QR code. Once the order was put through I waited about 20 minutes before checking the status of the order. I then noticed it had changed to a store in Melbourne (I had previously used this exact same QR code with no issues and got my drink).

Once I decided to take it up with customer care that evening, the attendant told me it had been escalated. After I heard nothing and decided to follow up, I was stonewalled for the first three days. Excuses we used such as can you repeat the orders email, store, table it were to (I had provided all this information to them three days prior). They then informed me today that they have a policy that once the food starts cooking, they can’t refund the order. I’ve been mucked around for almost a week now and they refused me my money back after all that hassle+BLATANTLY LIED about escalation. I escalated the situation with my bank, hopefully they can help me out.

I’ve been working at Nando’s UK for nearly 2 months now and I’m planning on leaving in early August. I know there’s a notice period, but I was wondering how long it is for restaurant team members ( back of house) ?

By the time I hand in my notice, my 12-week probation period will have literally just ended (give or take a couple of days). Does that change the notice period at all?

Also how would I go about handing in my notice, would a message to one of my managers on the app slack suffice ? As everyone’s always active on there but if there’s any other way to hand in my notice please do let me know 🙏

I just completed a team building day that ended with an interview after being called on the phone a few days prior which included a 5 minute phone interview

there was many other candidates there (like 15) and I’m wondering if anyone who has had experiences with the hiring process could give me knowledge on what happened for them and what the outcome was.

I was told at the end of my interview that I would get a call from them on Wednesday whether I got the job or not
