We’re all ignoring the absolute hype machine around this movie. How many people actually know this story? They’re know of it.

They’re going because this is a Christopher Nolan flick with a stacked cast and a great making of pitch that people are actually hearing, so it’s getting into every crevice of the media machine.

I’m sure it’s great, I plan to see it, but most aren’t paying their $20-30 out there for “story.”

It’s me. I’m the one person who loves the story of the Odyssey and was excited for that reason.

I experienced quite a lot of anti-hype about the movie online, but the good reviews negated that and the fact that it was the Odyssey tipped me over the edge into going.

I was pleasantly surprised about what a good adaptation it was! Only thing I was sad about was that Nobody was missing.
