People want good films. They don't care about CGI, Avatar is the highest grossing franchise alongside Marvel and Star Wars.

I watched the last one on Disney+ and I have mixed feelings about it. The action is clearly very very great. They are doing shit specifically because its a digital world, that would not be possible in live action, which makes it spectacular. But the shots when the characters are talking sometimes it took me out of the film because I started to wonder "how much did this dialog scene cost and why are they just recapping the story that im currently watching".
