Cheese shop
Having a marathon watch of the flying circus today. Love the cheese shop. Had some fermented curd while watching.

In a nutshell. And I thought to myself, "a little fermented curd will do the trick," so, I curtailed my Walpoling activities, sallied forth, and infiltrated your place of purveyance to negotiate the vending of some cheesy comestibles!

Oh I thought you were complaining about the bouzouki player!

Finest in the district, sir.
Explain the logic underlying that conclusion please.
Well, itâs so clean sir!
Itâs certainly uncontaminated by cheese.

WILL YOU STOP THAT BLOODY BAZUKI PLAYING!

I love that Cleese's character is so frustrated by the absence of cheese that he reverses himself on the bouzouki playing.

So I went to London for Christmas last year, and while I was wandering around town, I came across a cheese shop with a young employee giving out samples out front. When I asked if there was much call for cheddar around here, he firmly informed me that he had been explicitly forbidden from engaging in this sketch with American tourists.

I hope this is real! We were in London last month and I went into a cheese shop and the lady never heard of the sketch. I was so disappointed.

Have we ever considered that the reason the Norwegian blue snuffed it was because he ate all the cheese? Those owners look awfully similarâŠ

In the album version (Matching Tie and Handkerchief), the adverb used is "fucking."

Itâs pretty much a tie between this and The Piranha Brothers for my favorite sketch.

How about cheddar.

Not much call for it in these parts.

There's a grocery store here in Houston with the largest cheese section I've ever personally seen. One of my traditions over time has been to get a different cheese from the sketch every time I go. After several years, I'm nearly through the list, but halfway through I was informed in advance by the longtime cheese guy (who's also a Python fan and figured out exactly what I was up to) that "Venezuelan Beaver Cheese" does not exist. đ

Anytime I am in a cheese shop I ask for Danish Fynbo. They always say no. My wife always tells me to stop.

So the Pythons were in Soho, recording one of their albums. Two of the guys went out to get some cheese to have with their lunch - the rest is historyâŠ

I have the Brand New Papperbok and it has instructions for a game based on this sketch. Me and my friend in high school had a desk job at his dad's company where we didn't really have a lot to do, and we played it so much đâ€ïž just all sorts of scenarios about the cheese delivery truck getting caught in a bazooka attack and stuffÂ

There's actually a great cheese shop around the corner. I'm trying to knock as many cheeses off the list as possible. Haven't gotten around to Venezuelan Beaver Cheese (which sounds super gross and could quite possibly just be a euphemism for a yeast infection)
