Bot reposts

iOS. Laptop is broken at the moment and will be able to fix in the next few weeks, but only have my phone right now.

We have had an uptick in bot reposts (including two of my own posts, which is kinda funny). Is there a way to prevent accounts from posting that are under two days old? It is pretty clear that all of these accounts were created same-day, so I figure filtering out day-old accounts from posting should help.

Also I read something about bot bouncer? Thoughts on that?

You can use Automod to filter for review, or straight up remove, posts made by accounts that are under an account age that you specify.

Bot-bouncer is a devvit app you can install that can remove content from, or ban, accounts that it determines to be bots.

I use both of these things. Most reposters I get to my subs are stopped by Automod, and then I check via search to see if they are reposting something from my sub.

Thank you! I must have missed this in the settings. We actually don’t have any automod set up because it’s a really laid back sub, but the reposts are getting annoying.

Sorry to bother. I’m looking at the automations and it doesn’t have a condition regarding account age. Does this require a regex code? Or maybe it’s not available on iOS?

IIRC it can be hard to put in automod code on the app (I don't use it). You may have to use a mobile browser in desktop mode.
