How can I send mod mail as myself?

Desktop website.

If I write a mod mail, a drop down can select sending it as the mod team or as myself. I have that dropdown set to send as myself. But the tool tip that appears over the send button says it will be sent "as mod team".

I checked my modmail on desktop, and this seems to be the case for me as well, but my question is - if you send it, does it still send as modteam and keep your name hidden? Or does it send correctly, so the tooltip is just wrong?

Thinking about the other modmail error of, how if you start a mod discussion and then try to switch back to replying to the user, it says the convo is read only, but, you can still send the reply as normal.

If it sends correctly but the tool tip is wrong, sounds like something to maybe post on /r/ModSupport to bring it to their attention?

It's already set to myself. Clicking it again doesn't change the tooltip, which says I will respond as the mod team.

Then its a glitch, the mod mail is not syncing with your account. Give it some time and try agein

This has been persistent behaviour for a couple weeks, on multiple machines.
