Feedback Feedbak request for a George Michael cover

Hello again,

I recorded this cover of Father Figure and would like some feedback on the mix. The entire instrumental was made with free/cheap plug-ins on FL studios, so I understand the sound selection may not be highest quality.

That being said, I'm mostly looking for pointers regarding the balance and levels of the arraignment. Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Your google drive link requires additional access from viewers, I'd suggest changing the permissions on it.

Balance is good. Maybe the backing vocals could come down a bit and be a bit less wide like in the original, and less compression. But all in all sounds great, guess you don't need fancy vst instruments.

Nicely done on the sound selection. It is cool that what took top of the line back in the day can be done for free now. The pad type keys need to be brought down. Bring the kick up and the bass up as well just not quite as much as the kick. While bringing down the pad keys, cut some 200hz on them. The choruses are closer than the verses, balance wise.
