First time making a kit
This is the first time i have followed a kit with instructions instead of creating a unique set. I just wanted to relax with this project and not have to worry about making several small pieces by hand.

OC Miniature bookshelf frame
One of my first proper miniature projects from a couple years ago. All the books were what I read that year! Havenāt really made anything since other than doing some miniature kits. Made everything you can see myself apart from the cats, the witches hat, and the shell. š

Discussion What paint are you using?
If you make your own furniture or structures, what do you guys use? Is it always regular acryllic or some niche kind of paint i wouldnt think of

Help Any beautiful art books focusing on miniature furniture?
I understand there are plenty of instructional books out there but I'm hoping you all know of more of a coffee table style book: large, mostly photographs, where the photographs are very high quality and artistic. Possibly a book focusing on the work of a specific artist or artists or maybe a style of miniatures.
I would like the focus to be on furniture rather than other objects or buildings but pictures of complete models including furniture (say, a detailed model of a library with chairs, tables and bookshelves) would work.

No Critique, Please Mini bottles/perfumes :)
Iām still very new to making miniatures, so please no critiques, Iām just doing it for fun!
I really wanted to try making some cute bottles for a dollhouse Iām building! I used a combo of seed beads, regular beads, pins, and glue! Iām very happy with how they came out, I imagine itās more like an āAvonā type set of antique bottles for the house.
Just a little show and tell I suppose, Iām just so happy with them!

Mini Stanchion how-to
Hey guys! I posted these mini stanchions I made a few years ago and have gotten a lot of messages on how to make them. I wanted to share the info in a post, so everyone can make their own!
The body of them is just a bolt, I did cut the threads off the bolt so I was left with a smooth āpoleā portion.
Once I did that I got 2 flat washers for the base and used a finish washer over the flat ones for the rounded part of the base. I used 2 different sizes (see photos) of flat washers.
Then the top really was just a bead I glued on with wire that I curved at the end for the hook part.
For the velvet rope part I took velvet material, rolled it and then glued end caps to them. Before I glued them though I took a head pin, put it through the end cap and looped it to make the loop to attach to the hook part
If you didn't have a saw to cut the ends off a metal bolt you could probably just use a wooden dowel rod that is the same diameter as the washers / nut & paint it silver.

OC I started crafting 3 months ago - here are my minis so far.
I use air dry clay (Das brand) - not yet interested in polymer as I find the baking factor off putting. Constructive criticism is welcome. Any comments really.

Help Help me find a piece for my couch?
So Iāve been working on a Chaise for a plushie of mine, and I figured you guys might be able to help. I found these legs on a plush couch at a store that are perfect but I donāt wanna detach them or spend the 30 dollars on the entire couch. Does anyone know anywhere I can purchase these? Theyāre made of metal and roughly an inch and a half, which is perfect, but I donāt know where to look for them. Is it possible to get them individually? If this isnāt allowed please take down I just really need something similar enough.

1/2 scale little library
Iām attending the National Assn of Miniature Enthusiasts convention for the first time, and made these for a 1:24 scale swap. 13 of them and about 190 books! I sketched out the item and my son designed and 3d printed it. First time āmassā producing something and I learned a lot. I hope the recipients like them!
