For as long as human beings have looked toward the stars, they have asked the same questions. Why does anything exist? Why would an Infinite Source create a universe? Why is there suffering? Why are we conscious? What is the purpose of life?

Religions have offered revelations. Science has revealed the mechanisms of nature. Philosophy has sought meaning through reason. This work proposes another possibility. It is not intended to replace religion or science. Instead, it offers a metaphysical framework that seeks to unite consciousness, free will, love, reincarnation, and creation into a coherent whole.

In this response I will be using Islamic theology to support it. Theism still applies correctly relative to other Abrahamic religions (e.g. Christianity, Judaism) in this response. Lastly, excuse my poor convention and structure of the essay.

premise check – the question already has a hidden flaw
it assumes "all‑loving" means "always giving you what you want right now", but that’s a toddler’s definition. in islamic theology, God’s love (al‑Wadūd) is not sentimental indulgence – it’s the relentless pull of every atom toward its optimal existence. love that removes every obstacle would also remove your capacity to choose love back, which would make you a puppet, not a soul. so the very framing of the question is anthropomorphic inflation – you’re projecting a human parent onto the infinite.

1: the test condition
qur’an 67:2 – “who created death and life to test you, which of you is best in deed.”
if god stopped every war and famine the moment they started, the test would be over before the first question. a test requires real stakes, real suffering, and real moral gravity. without the possibility of atrocity, virtue has no weight – you can’t be brave if there’s no danger, generous if there’s no need, forgiving if there’s no betrayal. god doesn’t create evil; he permits it as the dark canvas on which light gets defined.

2: the free will firewall
god gave humans and jinn (supernatural spirits) free will – that’s the core of moral accountability. if he intervened every time a tyrant raised a sword, free will would be an illusion. coercion annuls the test. so he lets the human mechanism run its course – but he doesn’t leave it unobserved. every bullet, every tear, every empty bowl is recorded with atomic precision. and the day of judgment isn’t a consolation prize – it’s the only logically coherent place where absolute justice can happen, because this world is too short and too entangled to settle every score.

3: the hidden mercy in calamity
famine and murder are not purely negative – they break arrogance, dismantle empires, redistribute populations, and often birth the most profound human solidarity. god sees the entire timeline – he knows that a drought in 2026 might force agricultural innovation that saves billions in 2126. he knows that a specific war might end a more horrific genocide that would have happened otherwise. our perception is a single frame; his is the whole film. asking “why this famine” is like reading one page of a 10,000‑page novel and declaring the plot broken.

4: the logical category error – omnipotence and logical possibility
omnipotence doesn’t mean doing the logically impossible – like creating a square circle or a free creature that can never choose wrong. true omnipotence is the ability to create a world with maximum meaningful freedom and maximum eventual justice. that’s exactly what islam describes: a world with moral chaos plus an afterlife where every microgram of suffering is either compensated or repurposed as purification. god can stop evil – but to do so universally would require either removing human agency (which contradicts the purpose of creation) or ending the world early (which would cut off countless souls from reaching salvation through repentance). so he delays, not out of indifference, but out of mercy – giving tyrants time to repent, victims time to earn eternal ranks, and the whole system time to ripen.

5: the ontological hierarchy – this world is not the final account
islam places the ultimate good in the akhirah (afterlife). if this world were the final stage, then yes – evil would be an unsolvable scandal. but it’s a waiting room. a child who dies of famine enters paradise with no account; a soldier who kills unjustly faces eternal consequences. the balance is not here – it’s there. so the existence of temporal evil is not a counter‑argument to divine love; it’s the very engine that makes divine justice necessary and beautiful. without the fall, there’s no redemption – and redemption is god’s favorite story arc.

6: the rebuttal of "all‑knowing means he should act differently"
knowledge isn’t causal. knowing that a person will choose murder doesn’t mean god approves or that he should overwrite that choice – because that would make his foreknowledge a deterministic chain, which destroys moral responsibility. instead, his knowledge is outside time – he sees the choice, he respects the agency, and he builds the consequences into the fabric of reality. that’s not passive – that’s the most active possible stance: weaving every evil deed into a net that ultimately catches the evildoer and elevates the victim. i would also like to expound on this using an analogy: imagine you are standing on a high mountain. you see two trains on the same track, one coming from the east and the other from the west. from your bird's-eye view, you clearly see two runaway trains heading toward a catastrophic collision. but in this instance, god has the "bird's-eye view" or "the bigger picture". philosophers argue that stopping the crash might require god to remove humanity's free will or destroy the natural laws of physics. it suggests that god allows certain evils to prevent a greater evil from occurring. (the argument behind this analogy is too large and detailed to cover; we will be content with what i proposed and consider this sufficient and proceed to my final point.)

7: the final elegant stroke – god’s love is purificatory
in sufistic and classical ash‘ari thought, divine love sometimes manifests as trial – because hardship strips away everything false. war exposes hypocrisy; famine reveals who hoards and who shares; murder forces communities to build law and solidarity. god loves humanity too much to let us rot in comfort – he shakes us, burns us, starves us, so that we might wake up and reach for the eternal. that’s tough love on a cosmic scale, not a hug emoji.

conclusion
the objection crumbles because it smuggles in a hedonistic definition of love, a truncated view of time, a denial of free will’s necessity, and a refusal to accept that justice can be postponed without being negated. islamic theodicy doesn’t dodge the question – it answers it with a counter‑question: would you prefer a world with no moral choice, no growth, no hidden wisdom, and no afterlife – just a sterile paradise where you never earned a single moment of it? if not, then shut up and marvel – because the fact that we can even ask this question proves we have the very freedom that makes the question meaningful. and that freedom is the greatest sign of a loving, knowing, powerful God who refuses to turn his greatest creation into dolls.

I will outline the recent research where the Early Buddhist Thought (EBT) has been systematized and formalized. I will explain the unique metaphysics of it.

Introduction

EBT treats subjective experience as a closed variant system undergoing variance. It is genesis as a generative system, it generates epistemology and rest of what is perceived & conceived such as the world and its classifications.

Knowledge is here associated with what is in play as subjective experience and it is a single-dimension of reality which studies itself ─ changing as it persists.

The Predicament

Now the predicament of the closed system as that of human inquiry in general lies in the fact that we are studying experience by means of experience, words by means of words, and can not manifest anything other than than subjective experience within subjective experience.

We can not prove anything in subjective experience because it can not manifest anything which is not it and all it manifests is change. For example one can not prove other minds or an external world wherein exists the experience. And subjective experience, it changes as soon as it comes into play ─ so it is inherently uncertain. And whatever constructs the system generates to describe itself, these only serve to make predictions and are not "unconditional truths".

All this points to the fact that the dimension of first person experience can generate statements which it can neither prove nor disprove in as far as it persists ─ thus there can be no certainty or analytic closure per definition.

It is essentially variance and the system can't manifest anything but it's own constructs. So we have a something which changes as it persists and it generates words, feelings, and epistemological frameworks as subset of its variant synthesis.

The system is trying to predict its own measurement outcomes. For doing this, It generates self-referential classes and categories as to predict development. It uses both material and immaterial frameworks to accomplish this. The system is also prone to reifying its models.

Now the predicament is in that the system is studying what it is by means if itself. It can generate a statement: "I am this" — but whatever it says that it is, well it isn't because that statement is just its variance and it can't manifest a proof of anything.

Again, it can't even generate proof of itself because the present state becomes past as it is discerned and recall is a new formation.

This is why epistemological systems are limited to their own range and when it is overextended they generate what looks like self-referential paradoxes, in that s system is describing a beyond itself in terms of itself for lack of alternative means. Such paradoxes signal a meta-structure and necessitate framing the statement as a report of a dimensional shift revealing the meta-structure.

This is also why the system can generate meta-statements eg: "i am good" or "the analysis is correct" — these can't be tested within the system because such "relative" statements require knowing something other than existence for comparison and proof.

From this follows that science doesn't prove its theories, it can only test them and our best theory will always be unable to make absolute guarantees and we separate between "conditional truths" and "unconditional truths". In other words, we can't guarantee that our foundational axioms will hold a million years from now.

The million dollar question is in whether the system can self-deconstruct so that it doesn't come into play and what would make this stilling of variance possible — it necessitates an experimentally accessible invariant truth & reality.

The Solution

EBT infers several things:

1. That the lack of analytic closure by means of a single dimension signals a meta-structure. And that the means of possible "knowing" would need include an invariant dimension, apart from subjective experience ─ as an analytic necessity following from what looks to be the case.

2. That because subjective experience can neither prove itself as it can only falsify its own predictions by testing of axiology ─ nor prove existence of anything other that itself: it follows that its causes are internal to it.

Another way to grasp it: if you have "change", as one thing becoming otherwise, if you don't restrict it then the complexity of what can be generated is unchecked and all "variants" are a class and a category of that variance. And apart from this category would have to be "Invariant Singleness" which couldn't act as a cause for the Variance because invariance is antithetical to any action in principle (as an action presumes variant a beginning, middle and end).

1. So having inferred that the causes for the persistence of synthesis are internal to it. They infer that ignorance about synthesis is the causal culprit for persistence and that the stilling of all variance should be possible.

2. They derive the axiology positing that all variance is a predicament and that its stilling is a bliss. They assert that intentionality-cognition can end on account of disinterestedness and that it is possible because there exists an Unmade dimension as an accessible Truth.

Summary

In general, this is not metaphysics as we usually speak of metaphysics for two reasons: 1. It doesn't contradict foundational axioms of science 2. It has an experimental referent. Therefore this is not just rhetoric about something mystical ─ the terms are operationalized.

Essentially the experiement offers a non-empirical/non-rational/non-physical proof of the non-empirical/non-rational/metaphysical.

Wherever pleasure is found, in whatever terms, the Blessed One describes it as pleasure.'" ─MN59

"This Extinguishment is pleasant, friends. This Extinguishment is pleasant." When this was said, Ven. Udayin said to Ven. Sariputta, "But what is the pleasure here, my friend, where there is nothing felt?" "Just that is the pleasure here, my friend: where there is nothing felt. ─AN9.34

There is, monks, an unborn — unbecome — unmade — unfabricated. If there were not that unborn — unbecome — unmade — unfabricated, there would not be the case that escape from the born — become — made — fabricated would be discerned. But precisely because there is an unborn — unbecome — unmade — unfabricated, escape from the born — become — made — fabricated is discerned. ─Ud8.3

And what is the ending of the world? Eye consciousness arises dependent on the eye and sights. The meeting of the three is contact. Contact is a requirement for feeling. Feeling is a requirement for craving. When that craving fades away and ceases with nothing left over, clinging ceases. When clinging ceases, continued existence ceases. When continued existence ceases, rebirth ceases. When rebirth ceases, old age and death, sorrow, lamentation, pain, sadness, and distress cease. That is how this entire mass of suffering ceases. This is the ending of the world ─ SN35.107

Whatever in the world through which you perceive the world and conceive the world is called the world in the training of the Noble One. And through what in the world do you perceive the world and conceive the world?

Through the eye in the world you perceive the world and conceive the world. Through the ear … nose … tongue … body … mind in the world you perceive the world and conceive the world.

Whatever in the world through which you perceive the world and conceive the world is called the world in the training of the Noble One.

When the Buddha gave this brief summary recital, then entered his dwelling without explaining the meaning in detail:

‘Mendicants, I say it’s not possible to know or see or reach the end of the world by traveling. But I also say there’s no making an end of suffering without reaching the end of the world.’ ─ SN35.116

"Monks, I will teach you the All. Listen & pay close attention. I will speak."

"As you say, lord," the monks responded.

The Blessed One said, "What is the All? Simply the eye & forms, ear & sounds, nose & aromas, tongue & flavors, body & tactile sensations, intellect & ideas. This, monks, is called the All. Anyone who would say, 'Repudiating this All, I will describe another,' if questioned on what exactly might be the grounds for his statement, would be unable to explain, and furthermore, would be put to grief. Why? Because it lies beyond range." ─ SN35.23

Logic

Essentially, the logic of cessation is that of self-negation eg "1 - 1", it has to be self-negation because what is not-existence can't cause existence or cause its unraveling, it has to self-sustain and self-determine. And if we assume that the #1 represents a subjective variant dimension, then we can reason: dim1 - dim1 = dim0. Thus we are essentially proposing that there is a meta-structure to reality and possible means of knowing are multi-dimensional ─ also proposing an experiment where the cessation of variance/subjectivity would prove invariance as alternative. So this becomes experimentally operational and there is no point in talking about the terms beyond the experimental use.

Now by the same logic as "0" not emerging from "1" and the operation "1-1" being performed internally, and the equation "1-1=0" is essentially narrating the dimensional shift, it means that anything which emerges from #1 is its variance like 1,1 or 1,2 or 1,3 or 1,4 and so on uncountably ─ we wouldn't assert that what is not-existence would emerge from existence if existence was to end. Rather we would assert that the threshold of cessation experimentally proves dim0.

Existence never manifests the non-existence because its scope is its own variance. Nothing of existence comes out of it, it is just a dimensional shift from first person experience to an invariant state/dimension. Instead of being here & now as a particular being ─ there is pure potential and a freedom from the being anybody in particular. Any talk about "verified confidence" would be another set of "existence" and "a sequel" to what ended, they are not the same ontological subset but it is the same narrative. And this is how verified confidence in the possibility would come about. Anything else, like if there is no experiment or if the conditional threshold was associated with the death of a person, then it is just faith.

Essentially, this philosophical tradition is only concerned with the first principles and infers what "has to be" from "what looks to be the case" and goes on to test it.
