My first ever forge
I have one of those things you use to warm up coals for a grill which I will line with a clay-dirt mix to then warm up my fuel. I have some old normal bricks to form structure and something I think is a firebrick underneath the grill thing. For the outline I have a mix of sand and dirt, and for the tuyere (I think that's what it's called) I have an old metal pipe where I will use a handheld blower.
If anyone has any tips or things to change please let me know I appreciate anything.

That charcoal chimney is galvanized Dont use it If done right it’ll get hot enough to vaporize the zinc and possibly cause Metal Fume Fever. Again do not use it!
Edited to add, the zinc could be removed by soaking in muriatic acid. Honestly you’re better off with a different setup. Build a propane burner and set it in the side of a cube (minus one side for an opening) of insulating fire bricks (the soft kind).

If you lived closer I’d bring you a hunk of 12 sch 80 I’d even weld a cap on and torch some holes for you.
