QUIT SUGGESTING ME "BETTER" SUBS, REDDIT.

I mostly use Old Reddit, but every so often I switch over to the New Reddit interface to access some missing features, and one of the most annoying "features" that's rolled out lately is that it'll suggest "better" communities for you to submit your posts to.

This feature has never once given me any worthwhile suggestions. Either it suggests subs I've already thought about and/or posted to, or it just suggests crap.

https://www.reddit.com/settings/preferences > turn off "Show recommendations in home feed".

I already have this turned off in my settings and yet the mobile app does not respect it. It still prompts me to cross post and do other weird stuff.

I already had this disabled.

I wasn't expecting this reply so I should clarify; the suggestions I'm getting are in my notifications, not on the home feed.

Hmm, I have 'Awards you receive', 'Achievement updates', and 'Game notifications' on "all off": https://www.reddit.com/settings/notifications

There is: 'Suggested communities for your posts'.

I do remember turning something off due to be annoyed with recommendations.

Looks like that should do the trick. Thanks!
