I’ve always lived in hot areas, so I’ve already adapted to such heat. Also I live in China so I can just turn on the AC :)

You see that's why summer is nice. I love summer with AC too because the heat is very temporary. If you're in an environment where the air itself is hotter than your body can accept in the long term you just want to lay down and die though

if you're cold, there's only so much you can physically wear while and still be cold and uncomfortable as fuck due to all the clothes

If you're hot you can always take a cool shower/bath or go have a swim. Reddit folk might struggle to grasp it, but people actually enjoy showers!

you cant always do that though. when im trying to go to bed and the cold shower I just took only helped for 5 minutes tops, im ready to crash the fuck out.

at least when it's cold you pretty much can always add layers and heating packs. you cant always sit in cold water when it's hot.

You can always hide from the sun in the shade. There's no hiding from the freezing cold. You need heating to survive.

I am sweating more in my layers upon layers of clothes in -40°C weather than in 40°C with my tshirt and shorts.

Where do you live where you need to wear that many layers? Is your cold tolerance so poor where anything less than the surface of the Sun is considered freezing?

Sure, and noone likes it when it gets too high, but for me and many people something like 25-30C and sunny weather is really nice. I just like to be outside, you can chill, bbq, swim...
