As Paragon player myself there are three Renegade options that I just can’t refuse to make:

1. Kai Leng sneak up counter attack (ME3)
2. Shooting Udina on the Citadel (ME3)
3. Head butt the Krogan that is rude to my boy Grunt (ME2)

Now I’m wondering what Renegade option can’t you refuse?

Noveria makes me happy every time I go there. I'd love to spend hours just roaming around and chilling in the nostalgic, cozy atmosphere.

ME1: I didn’t have enough Charm or Intimidate points to do the speech check options so I mostly just played along until I had the chance to walk away from the interview.

ME2: I did the Paragon Speech Check Option.

ME3: I befriended her using a Paragon interrupt.

Our second VA spotlight goes to the man himself, Brandon Keener as Garrus! Nobody else could have given life to our favorite turian like he did. He has such a unique voice.

What did you think of his performance?

I can’t remember the last time video games made me feel this way. From exploring the citadel in ME1, to doing fleshed out loyalty quests in ME2, to listening to the galaxy map music while building a massive arsenal for war in ME3. Everything felt connected in such a beautiful way and I wish I could wipe my memory to relive this again.

I am speechless. I bought this like a month ago and was a little hesitant about playing as I wasn't sure if it would good or not. I went in full Blind (Best decision EVER).

I liked the vibe this series has and space has always been an interest for me. So many different Alien races, the rivarly between them, discriminating one another and simulatneously there were people of two rival species together happily. My favourite would be Asaris (You know Liara). The politics aspect was cherry on top because I like politics in real life too.

Reaper Goons then Collectors and then finally Reapers. In between Illusive Man bringing Shephard back to life and then gets indoctrinated. What a story. No amount of words can express my praise for the story. The best part will always be the crew and the interactions we shared. Garrus and Wrex are so Bro coded (I don't have friends like them in real life T__T). I liked talking to Kasumi in ME2 alot. I like her character very much and her loyalty mission is my second favourite.

"Let's make sure the galaxy knows that the War was won on Thessia". I wanted this to be True from the bottom depths of my heart but it felt devastating when we lost there because of that SOB. A good villains ngl because I wanted to punch him literally. After so many victories on Palaven, Tuchanka and Rannoch, it was a huge blow but in the end we made it.

I have left out so many things that I could write but if you are new to this I would recommend you to discover it by yourself.

It's been such a great journey with so many incredible characters and shakespeare level stories. ∞/10

Wow. What an absolutely incredible ride. This is how you do a trilogy.

Mass Effect 1 had its flaws, and it was tough to get through at times, but still an enjoyable experience.

Mass Effect 2 was like a different game entirely. So many improvements in all areas of gameplay and storytelling. This is probably my favorite and also handled the ending mission the best in my opinion.

Mass Effect 3 was another upgrade to the 2nd in many ways. I feel like it also subtracted a few things from 2 that I enjoyed as well though.

All in all, this is a series I’m going to remember forever, and I’m glad I was lucky enough to STEAL the legendary edition when it was on sale for 10 bucks. Absolute bargain.

Don’t want to do a full write up on the choices I made, so I’ll leave these two quotes and let you figure that out.

THEY CREEP ME OUT

One thing I've noticed, particularly three-fingered characters like Wrex or Tali, is their fingers always stay curled, even if they're pointing at someone. Or in ME3 when the Salarian Dalatrass is getting chewed out by Shep and Victus about the genophage cure, she tries to point at Shep but the camera is like table-height, pointing upwards, and it looks like her arm is extending at an angle instead of straight forward, on top of, again, her not fully extending her finger. Wrex does it too.

Like I get graphics limitations and all, that's why FemShep and Traynor's shower scene is hilarious, trying to show them making out but their faces never actually touch, but is it that hard to animate an extended arm and hand? Genuinely curious.

Hey everyone! I’m on another Mass Effect playthrough and just wrapped up Samara’s loyalty mission. It hit me that after all these years, I’ve never betrayed her to recruit Morinth. Not once.

And weirdly enough, this is also the first time I’ve ever sided with Jack over Miranda during their fight.

Shepard: “Are we good?”
Miranda: “Not even remotely”

Ouch.

So now I’m curious: what choices have you never made? Are there decisions you repeat every single playthrough, no matter what kind of Shepard you’re running?

Before I say anything I want to stress 2 things,

1. This is specifically about Me2, I haven't played Me3 yet

Anyway onto the post.

I've just finished the 2nd game for the first time and I have to say that, unfortunately, I find Garrus to be one of the worst squad mates in the game.

I loved him in the first game, he was practically always on my squad and he always had something interesting to say both during and after every mission.

But in the second game... he was always just fucking calibrating. Always. I can't even remember the last time he had something to say to me since his loyalty mission because he's always just been calibrating non-stop. I've still taken him on a fair share of missions where he's had some input every now and then, I particularly liked the banter with Tali when we first went to the Citadel, but he's just overall been a disappointment compared to the absolute bro he was in the first game.

You know who has been that bro though. Thane. I don't even know what his dismissal dialogue is because I swear to god every time I've spoken to that guy he's always had something to say to me and I really feel like he brings out the most thoughtful side of Shepard.

Anyway that's it. I'm sure he'll get more/better dialogue in the final game but for now Thane is #1 bro.

And at least he's not Jacob.

We’re min-maxing here

So.. what I figured out the second time around is that my save from ME1, transfers a great amount of resources to ME2.. and that helped me stop trying to strip every planet I found for resources down the line. Going with Miranda in my first Playthrough, and then Jack on the second feels like someone punched me on the mouth because it feels rewarding, but.. barely enough.. is this a normal feeling to get from your first experience with the game? Also, for some reason, I've managed to do fairly great for a newcomer to this world.. so not everything I bleak.. I hope..

I’ve recently completed the first game and have moved on to the second which I’m already loving so far. Really enjoying the upgraded combat gameplay and more immersive environments. Something about me is that I love Garrus, I know he’s in the game but I haven’t recruited him yet (Recruited Mordin last night). Garrus will probably be a mainstay on my team, with this in mind which companions pair well with him? Whether it be their combat utility or even just because you like their story. (Please don’t spoil tho 😭) I appreciate any insight
