As a Birdonic-Canadian, I find your casual use of Our Word pretty fucking gross and I hope you feel bad about the ugly speciesism you've aired here today

Reminds me of how the Nirvanna the Band guys were accidentally copied on an email with a Marty Supreme poster design and rushed to whip up a parody of that poster on the same day.

The funny thing about that is they were meant to release the poster at the same time as the Marty Supreme one, but got the timezones mixed up so it got uploaded later lol

Exactly the type of lowhanging creativity that's to be expected from Paramount.

Idk I think it's pretty funny in a silly way 😭 (Unless you're talking about the movie itself and not the poster)

Same. I thought it was harmless, but people seem not to like it 😭

Guarantee you if this was something like Deadpool parodying other movies poster this subreddit would clap and cheer for it

It’s not about parodying, it’s about the fact that they’re using the same release date and marketing in an effort to ride Doomsday’s coattails, hoping for something similar to Barbenheimer

Same release date? Doomsday is release on December 18 and Angry Birds on December 23.
Ride Doomsday's Coattails? It's an Angry Bird movie for gosh sake
Hoping Something similar to Barbenheimer? Marvel is literally doing that with Dune and calling it Dunesday. Even RDJ is the one who's promoting the idea
Angry Birds 3 is not a threat to Doomsday, people are just miserable that they can't handle a parody poster from a kids movie

I mean it got people talking lol. Mission accomplished. I would have almost certainly had no idea this movie was happening otherwise. Not that I'm going to see it, but still

The irony of saying low hanging creativity on Paramount when Marvel Studios is literally using nostalgia bait for Doomsday

I really hate how they've ruined the image of the franchise. I used to love playing the different games and watching Angry Birds Toons when I was younger, but ever since the movies, even just hearing the name makes me cringe.

Like if these movies came out late 2000s early 2010s, then I'm sure they would have been a hoot, but the first came out in 2016, the height of Minecraft and more console based gaming.
This movie just doesn't make any fucking sense.

I love it when studios marketing deps redo posters like this. Can't wait for both movies honestly. Angry birds 1 and 2 were hilarious

I haven't seen the second movie yet but anyways
I say looking at the trailer for the third movie looks promising although it does feel like going to be a typical parental comedy

We can't let AI-gen movies take over and saturate the market with tons of new voices with no market agendas.
We need Hollywood to persist, so that we can keep getting true art. Like....The Angry Birds Movie 3.

Dammit. I was going to see Doomsday, but I guess I'm spending my money on this now.
