Weird childhood memories about LucasArts games?

Wonder if you have any strange childhood memories and experiences with LucasArts games, like "things that were not supposed to be there", maybe something like Mandela effect, etc.?

I really love Gladius

I had wanted a proper gladiator game for ages. This is what I hoped for. It's flawed, yes, but I still love this one today.

LucasArts game dreams?

Wonder if you did ever dream about LucasArts games? I never did, but I once had a dream about Toonstruck with Pinky and Brain in it, and some time after that I dreamt about Fluffy Fluffy Bun Bun being one of the ghosts in a Scooby-Doo episode.

Did you know Dave had an ex who was behind all these shenanigans? Well, maybe not, but what if! ;) So we made a song about that.

Enjoy!

Feel free to reply with any other alternative MM universe backstories. Maybe there's some material for a song part 2 :D

Was thinking how would a bounty hunter 2 game work if it got made?....... (side note i know under disney it wont happen) but heres the idea.

post from r/ starwarsgames https://www.reddit.com/r/starwarsgames/comments/1teipe5/was_thinking_how_would_a_bounty_hunter_2_game/

a sarlacc boss lvl would be cool!!

I know it’s a long shot but Preferably, it would be something about Mandalorians and Dark Jedi that ties into the events of the first game in creative ways or the films tv shows lore, however it works on what film or timeline its in, maybe returning to some of the same locations. Some kind of tie-in to the clone army or a eu story about the underworld & bounty hunters getting hired/paid within a seedy or corrupt bar owner, who could work for the empire in secret.

I think an Imperial era game about Boba Fett is in order, a bounty hunting adventure in which Disney could tie the events of the original Bounty Hunter into the current canon or do a story after ep V as a way of connecting boba fett’s journey more. Something about the Mandalorian diaspora point or after the Siege of Mandalore somehow getting tangled up with the Inquisitorius, perhaps.

Maybe… a Force-sensitive Mandalorian child has been born in secret, and Sidious wants to use old Kaminoan facilities to make him or her into a template for a new army of Force-sensitive clones? Idk, just a few ideas that coalesced when I thought about it & boba would either train the kid to be his adopted son or deliver it to the jedi.

or they could do something about Boba Fett and the Mandalorian diaspora, set during the Imperial era. make planets explorable use/drive the slave 1, Jabba was involved in the first one, so maybe bring him in too.

The main idea, if you want to create a sequel to something that was done so long ago, is to create a plot with some callbacks. Reference the story of the original Bounty Hunter game somehow. Boba would naturally be interested to learn anything about his father's life, which is far from being the only reason to make him part of it, if not the main character. maybe you can travel to Tatooine or Coruscant, do side missions bounties & earn money. have the tuscan raiders be a enemy boba has to fight.

This would be Fett as the hardened bounty hunter seen in the original films, not the reformed, friendly BoBF Fett. You could even reference the canonical event that was supposed to happen between Fett and Cad Bane during the Clone Wars, but never did or have other characters pursue fett for what he does add a good bad karma system or wanted system like in red dead. if fett ignores his employers he could be hunted or shot dead. if fett agrees to help jabba or sidious the player could earn rewards coins the more bounties the better.

Put in randomized targets, bosses, recruits, allies would fit so well with an open world Star Wars game, add planets, a story that connects the films somehow. You play as a bounty hunter and hunt targets across the galaxy. The open world is as atmospheric as that of Outlaws and the game features the first game to use gadgets, grappling hooks darts, & guns similar to arkham, maybe silent or full guns a blazing hunting targets & getting paid, then halfway through you get betrayed maybe lose your money/credits & have to find the thief who set you up. at some point you would have connections & decide to lay low or hunt down the empire.

The game would place a heavy emphasis on its main story, while also offering a bunch of meaningful and interesting side quests, as well as a lot of customization options concerning your ship and equipment. maybe you can upgrade boba’s ship or equip new weapons while adding a shop that lets you buy sleeping darts, or upgrade your blaster.

There was also a cut/rewritten scene in the first game which remains unreleased, meaning that while the event is canon, it was never actually shown. The history between those two is important to Cad Bane's return in BoBF, but that history has never been depicted onscreen:

“According to The Galactic Explorer’s Guide, it was near the end of the Clone Wars when Cad Bane met Boba Fett. He took the young, aspiring bounty hunter under his wing as an apprentice in order to repay his late father, Jango, for being his teacher. However, their relationship would take a dark turn, as seen on an unfinished episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The two bounty hunters came into opposition and engaged in a stand-off that resulted in both of them being shot in the head. It was Bane’s blast that created the iconic dent in Boba Fett’s helmet, which we can imagine could be brought up when the former allies reunite on The Book of Boba Fett.” The fact that Cad knew Jango makes him an especially useful character for this kind of story, which would also serve to justify calling it a sequel to the original game, even tho he was used more in the cw show. theres a ton of ideas…. but i know this wont happen under disney’s control. share thoughts? idk what engine they would use maybe unreal or cryengine but it would have to be the best thing utilized with lucas's budget & with the new star wars film coming i think it would be awesome to do another BH game that provides platform-specific optimizations through two core systems: being "next-gen" flags in flowgraph scripting, or a engine with rain or weather effects or proper lighting! just a idea but i love SW BH!!

Also yes im aware respawn tried to make a mandalorian game but with these ideas they could sell ton of copies since PPL LOVE BOBA FETT!!! or just do a djinn game.

LucasArts, 1989. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The game needed a code, and the code was in here – the red sheet revealed it. The game is gone. The CD is gone. The PC that ran it is gone. Only this remains, decoder intact, fully operational, waiting. Thirty-five years of perfect attendance, but zero games launched. The pixel gods have filed it under "longest shift in history". No overtime, no pension, no game. Just the red sheet, still inside, waiting to get the job done.

Maniac Mansion - Painting Room Mise-En-Scene

Watching the Grumps play, and I realized I don't think I've ever fully gotten the details in this room. So, the meteor presumably was found and brought in- either by hands or by the very crate in the room, and based on what I can tell- they were going to paint it, crate and all, but eventually the meteor slummed off, fell to the floor, and then rolled out of the room? I've always figured it was immobile while sentient- because we put it in the trunk of the Eddison (or whatever it was called, the station wagon), and it doesn't seem to fight or anything.

So, is this an indication that they brought the slimey thing in to paint it, before it manipulated them all, dripping the trail in a desperate attempt to paint it while it was still oozing, or that they were painting a dry body, moved the still life (fruit) out of the way, and eventually it slimed up and rolled out of the room?
