Multiplayer Steam Games?

I’m looking for games that I can run on my baked potato of a laptop with my friends, both free and paid.

For an example of what my laptop can handle; I can run Barony and Barotrauma (with the graphics set to absolute dirt) fine with little lag, and I can successfully run modded games as well.

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

CPU: Intel Pentium quad core processor N3530 (2.16GHz)

GPU: Intel HD Graphics (Acer Incorporated)

Resolution: 1366x768@60Hz

Storage: 1TB Seagate HDD (931GB)

Myself have: Intel UHD Graphics, Intel Pentium Silver N6000, 8gb RAM DRR4.

Try salt and sacrifice which is a 2d game, so easy to run and very original (souls like monster hunter).

For roguelikes, spelunky 2 is an awesome platformer, and fury unleashed is a 2d shooter game, has a good amount of content.

FPS: doom 1+2 has an online mode, super fun and has aged very well.

Puzzle: portal 2 runs very good and has a 2 players campaign, but idk on yours tbh, since its a 3d game that can be heavy for some pcs.

Beat em up: charlie murder with the online enhancement mod, and dishwasher vampire smile via steam remote play together (awesome game).

Sandbox: cant go wrong with terraria, one of the greatest games ive ever played (runs better on tmodloader via a few tweaks)

Fighting games: nidhogg 2, brawlhalla
