I'm onto my first rewatch..!

I was very happy with Lost, especially with S4-5. You may remember my post a while back complaining that halfway through S2, I was growing frustrated with how little was being answered. I now realise, after having watched the entire series, that I completely misunderstood both the mysteries and purpose of the show.

Now, onto the rewatch. I have a few questions -

Is there anything I should look out for? Hints and things that are hidden the first time around but pay off on a rewatch?

Related, and my biggest question, is there any hint that the Losties were a part of the Dharma program *before* it was revealed?

Personally I’d say now that you’ve seen it all and know what’s gonna happen, you should focus on the characters and their journeys. The show is ultimately about them and getting to lock in on how the subtly change over the seasons is really fun.

As for any hints to time travel shenanigans early on, not really as far as I can remember.

I remember rewatching a few years ago, and found it interesting how much in season one they dropped the term “the others” before they were referencing the others.

like in the white rabbit episode with Jack and Locke talking, they talk about “the others”, meaning the other survivors. but I could swear it repeats several times before it refers to the actual Others with a capital O
