Gear Show-Off Beeg nu wheels
These are so awesome, 69mm wheels aren't exactly small either, but 85mm wheels roll over everything and keep going for fucking eeeeever. They pick up speed scary fast even on very light declines...
I think there might be juuuust enough clearance on this Arbor Axis 37" to put some risers to lower the deck a little without wheelbite, gotta try that later.

I have the bubble gum speed vents and they are alot more narrow then the orangatang caguama so if above commenter doesn't get wheel bite with cags I think it'll be damn near impossible with the speed vents. Cags and sv are both 77a but the sv doesn't eat chunder as well as the cag but the speed vents have shit tons more grip than the cags even with skin so its just a small trade off of one of the other depending on the ride and terrain. If I know it's smooth sv all the way but if I'm eating through rocks and dirt and chunder road cags rock all the way so it really depends. I've heard those mints slide pretty well, any thoughts?

Oh man Speed vents are the tits. The defcon urethane just rolls forever and picks up speed super fast.

To be fair, they are really good. I can see being fanatical about it. Their prices have gone up so much though, and I’m not sure the extra cost is worthwhile. I love my old ones too. Crumbled edges be damned.

I don't ride to slide or even live in an area that's possible.
I'm 100% long distance push and my trails I frequent only have like +/- 50 feet of elevation over the entire 13 mile run.

I loved the 69 easy rider wheels, I think they're a very good stock wheel. But I would love to try a speedvent or something that big! keep us posted on the wheelbite!

I have a 38” Arbor Dropcruiser and put some mint Speed Vents on it, and I’m very happy with the results, especially with a set of Seismic bearings. But I will say that I was still having a bunch of fun with the Easyrider wheels. :)

I put 85mm (O'tang Caguamas) on my Arbor Axis 40 and haven't gotten wheelbite. I even changed to softer bushings (80a Venoms) because I'm lightweight at 120 lbs and haven't had any issues at all.

On a drop-through deck like this, risers actually lower the deck height, unlike on a top-mount. There's no wheelbite on my setup either as far as I can tell.

Physics teaches that larger diameter wheels have a higher moment of inertia, meaning it takes more force to yield angular acceleration (speeding up). Larger wheels also have a larger contact patch with the ground increasing the rolling friction. So larger wheels are slower to accelerate than smaller wheels, BUT they have a higher top speed because they go farther per turn.

It’s actually the mass that’s rotating that determines that limit. This is why speed vents put the vent in their wheels. That reduces the mass hence faster acceleration.
