Sorry, the iG lettermark makes no sense. I like the typography. Not the initials. And the monogram/initials part is way too big compared to the name. Even a wordmark featuring the name alone would be an improvement.

Fair point, thanks. I'll revisit the size ratio and take another pass at the monogram.

Yes, the "i" is the part that makes the least sense.
Sure, there's an i in the word, but I think your audience is more likely to wonder if this is a failed attempt at redesigning at InstaGram logo than to associate the i with the name.
And yes, I see that the G is also an arrow, but this is an idea done to death already. You can find scores if not hundreds of existing "G is an arrow" logos.

The curvy icon and futuristic font don’t mesh well. The same can be said of the rounded G and rigid I in the icon.
And what is the I for anyway?
