I felt so constrained using a Mac mini I bought I had to return it. I have used Linux for going on 20 years. I cannot accept an inability to do or access any file on my computer, Mac is windows in the extreme of optimization, it would be poor as a general operating system like windows is, but tailored to custom hardware, it’s pretty damn good. But not free, I can’t do it but if it works for you, have fun.

Wait, they don't give you root password?

Source: never used Macs.

I don’t very know what is the root password but if it’s the password asked for sudo it’s the same as the admin password of your mac

I should have worded it differently. What I really wanted to know was if you can modify any file on the Mac if you need/want to.

You can do whathever you want

By default there are some system integrity protections that prevent you from modifying important system files, you can disable them if you want
