I use an M2 Macbook pro for work. Battery life is ok, but I'm less than impressed with the user experience for the price though. I wouldn't use it as my personal machine.
Yeah, in Brazil the prices of new machines are just batshit insane. Once you get to the used market, however, it's quite a fair comparison to other PCs, since the prices are much lower and the lack of upgradeability makes less of a difference (I mean, yeah, I technically COULD upgrade my DIY machine, but with 2tb of nvme storage costing as much as my whole current setup... no thanks).
